Mike and Mrs stern, and Jeff lorber, and Jimmy haslip just finished a West Coast swing with no brakes in between nights from Seattle to little Santa Cruz where he came to our little cool but jazz center and then he headed south they they went Non-Stop. And the joy that Mike has on stage is tremendous and it translates to the joy of the fans too. Plus his playing is just out of this world and it really is the only sound out there like that. We're very very lucky to have him come to our towns and perform. So much joy. Thank you Mike
Saw this live, in the sense of same tour with same lineup, but different venue. Peerless, wonderful shows, and the live energy and joy is just something hard to capture on video. Fantastic stuff.
If I was sitting in the audience for Mike’s solo I would have been horse from screaming. Just love this tune and the freedom for both sax/guitar solos. Mike just absolutely shreds this...as usual. Get up and scream. Why are you sitting and clapping?!?
This band is Smokin' Hot! ~Wow! ~ Everyone is right on the bead and beat!! ~ You must have had a blast on this tune +Mike Stern!! ~ So glad I heard this today!!
I met you at Catalina Bar & Grill about 15 yrs. ago, I was a young pup then, but I was in awe that anyone could understand music so well and play through those changes as if it was their primary language. Thank you for your devotion to the art of Jazz.
Love You Mike! This is Amazing! I Loved This Version of the Band. You continue to Inspire. Much Love and Thanks! Jazz Musicians live in a world of uncertainty, which breeds Magic and It's Why We Do It! Love You Mike Stern!
WOW!!! BRAVO!!! Mike Stern and his band are Terrific!!! Great performance. Thanks for this post. Mike and Band, come back to Brasil more times, please (specially in Rio de Janeiro). BRAVO! SUPER! Excuse me, but I will hear a hundred times this show... right now.

He is amazing live , had the pleasure twice. Last time his neck of his guitar less than 4 feet from my face. Was so humble for the giant he is , took a nice photo with me . hung out and chatted with folks . This dude !!
by listening this version i still remember when i saw Mike in Italy for the first time, with him the greats Bob Berg Jeff Andrews and Dennis Chambers who wrote two drumsticks that night ..lol. i was young and that was the day i realized what Music i had to listen to ... i still have the tape of that concert ...ì there was such an energy that night that even the trees were moving ... after thay gig i saw i really miss Berg and Andrews, such great powerful musicians
Mike!! I’ve seen you twice in Gothenburg, Sweden! Please, play this one next time you’re around, this is my favourite one! I just love it! Hope to see you soon again! 🙏🏼🎶🎵🎶🎸
First I was not a big fan of your playing style. Then I studied this piece and earned a lot of respect. My technique improved and also you're phrasing is phenomenal. Thank you Mike. Cheers from Belgium.
Been a fan FOREVER, Mike! Miles and then "Neesh", (or was it "Upside, Downside)....what'r we talking...30+ years? Good grief. Oh well, c 'est la vie! Sometimes I remember that ratty looking guitar you used to play...the fret board was like...gone, man. ;) Was it a Tele? Anyway...I am very happy that you are still out there, bro, workin' that thing.
The first time I heard Chromazone was on the cover mounted CD of a British guitar magazine called Guitar Techniques about twelve years ago! The studio version had been re-recorded and tabbed out in full for its readers. I thought it was amazing and initially preferred it to the original.
Franceschini blowing notes from a different planet out of that 🎷! Like what the ffuuuckkk!
I sincerely nominate this to be the best drumsolo ever played
I usually don't get into a lot of fusion music, it's just personal taste, but this.....absolutely fantastic. what a killer band!

Everything Mike plays is golden and heavenly. I never get tired of the unique sound he brings out of his Telecaster.

Awesome! Loved it. Amazing drum solo to polish it off
Masterpiece that Beethoven, Brahms, and Bach would approve. They all knew the value of an ostinato.

Killer performances by all!
Between John, Allan, Jeff, and Mike, along with a few others, even Johnny Smith, their guitars shine bright in a dark world.
Thanks a lot Master, blessings from Brazil.
They are so damn tight, it's like they're all one entity and their instruments are their appendages. Ensemble doesn't get much better than this!
Fantastic!!!!
