Yup! This video and the shorter one you posted sold me on the Yoto! Our daughter turns 3 soon and we want to get her something like this! Thank you so much!!
My granddaughter, Genevieve is getting a Yoto for her 3rd birthday soon and I wanted to know more about it. I love that it's screen free because just as you had mentioned, they start out on one thing on a phone or tablet and since that is very visual they end up on another thing. Understandably because their minds are intelligent sponges they are taking everything in, LOL! Glad I found your review. Thank you!
The audio is awesome! My toddler has the mini and she hangs it on her scooter in the house. I can hear it from anywhere lol but not annoyingly. And you can limit the day or night volume in the app
I know this review is for kids i wish this how they sell records and books for adults is there a time limit per card like can a how album be place on this or a whole audio book. Im asking cause record players are back in i dont have a problem with that its 2024 this seems more fitting
I'm an adult owner of a Yoto player--its very suitable for adults if you use the make-your-own cards to add whatever content you enjoy! The card playlists have a limit of up to 100 tracks or up to 5 hours if audio, whichever you hit first! So they will fit several albums on one playlist, but you will probably need multiple cards for a whole book. You can also link radio stations or podcasts and there's no limitation on adding ones that appeal to adults instead of children! They do also make just a few music album cards that would appeal to adults at the moment--Queen's Greatest Hits, two Beatles albums, and one of Bob Marley's hits as well. I actually bought it to replicate the enjoyment I get from my record player or cassettes in having that tactile experience but in a more convenient and portable format! Personally I really love it and couldn't be more pleased with it--it's just so charming and enjoyable to use and even the small player has great sound.
I like the cards better, but the toys incentivize kids to play with them and get lost. With the cards they quickly learn their collection of cards only have one real purpose with their box and are (hopefully) less likely be lost during play time. Hopefully. My kids less likely to take a card than a figure

Yes its so brilliant! The screen free option to listen to music is so perfect! I let my kids fall asleep to it at night listening to stories as well.
The Tonie is more for little kids 1-6 years old and the Yoto is more for 0 years to teens.
What is the audio like? I’m struggling to hear if it’s clear or muffled.

Thank you for the review! So true about the toys taking up too much space. The cards are much better!
but they will get lost easiear
@@serwahadom6158 no worries. i will keep them safe.
Do the cards have to be connected to the internet or bluetooth to work?
they’re connected to the internet. once you put the card on, it will download the content and you can listen without the internet.
What age do you suggest?
