Back when Memphis was for the most part united by the local attractions, independent commercial advertisements, championship wrestling; and the innocence of the mid South's youth! Memphis as a whole used to regularly recognize it's outstanding school students for academic excellence; and that appreciation radiated throughout the city. Thanks again for allowing us to step back into the past; and reliving those beautiful glorious days of what it meant to be a Memphian.💜🇺🇲
@@christophernicholson20 Exactly! Let's not forget to mention Adventure River, The Big One/ Flea market on the fairgrounds with hundreds of merchants; and The Monster Trucks venue within the Mid South Coliseum, as well! Fun for the whooole family!
"Jeopardy!" was on WMC-TV5 Memphis, until it moved a few years later to WREG NewsChannel 3 where it now airs to this day, and the WMC-TV5 Memphis "Jeopardy!" 5 second promo ID at 5:01 shown right before "The Golden Girls" rebroadcast on NBC, and "Wheel of Fortune" is still airing to this day on WMC-TV5 Memphis. And there is video trouble at 5:17 during "The Golden Girls" on WMC-TV5 Memphis as a commercial break was airing.
