I'm surprised to see the Hype export was so much faster! The video export has a static time based delay since there's no way to know when webkit is actually finished rendering a frame, so we just wait a bit. So I'd think that would account for most of the export time and reduce the difference between the two machines. Imagine how fast this could be if we didn't insert a delay!
@@brentalan67 Apple Remote Desktop doesn't have much of a purpose because it doesn't solve the real problem. Apple is moving away from Intel, so it's not clear if the 2018 Mac mini will get the latest version of macOS next year. Once that happens, how long will Apple continue to keep the device secure? I'm not very confident with that scenario, which is one of the main reasons for switching to the M4 Mac mini. If Final Cut Pro 11 wasn't such a good upgrade, and if the M4 Mac mini wasn't so powerful at an affordable price, I might have switched to Linux. Perhaps Apple realized the weakness in their walled garden, which could explain why the base M4 Mac mini is such a good value. Even as a spare tire, my 2018 Mac mini is still useful. Also, seeing how it could handle a million requests in 71 seconds, I might turn it into a local web server. It might be useful for my web experiments. That would mean switching the device to Linux. The problem is that I've already been accumulating old Linux computers. I considered turning the 2018 Mac mini into a dedicated Kiwix machine, but I already did that with a 2017 MacBook Air. A laptop seems better suited for that task. Also, my Raspberry Pi 5 has been largely unused. That's because it wasn't so great at running TH-cam videos. That was disappointing. Although, I suppose I should test that again, to see if the situation improved.
The secrets were revealed during the livestream… th-cam.com/video/TBtQWSd8cEg/w-d-xo.html …and more formal videos are on the way. (A lot of the raw footage was recorded today.) The new Mac mini is fast, but it's not that fast. There's still a lot of work to do. Ha ha! 😄

Oooo macmini
It's a good computer! 🙂
Lack of storage is a problem, but overall it's been quite nice.
What role will your 2018 Mini be relegated to now that it has a more athletic little brother?
I'm not sure. It's still a good machine, but the monitor, keyboard, and mouse are now attached to the new computer.

You can install an External Video card on Intel Mac Mini. That's about it..
Please teach us how to get the new characters in the crossy road theme park update!
For real
@Poptartking1388 yeah, I just went into the app, and there's a new theme park category!
