He's such a genuine soul and a darn amazing actor. I really hope he gets an Emmy award for his role as Johnny Lawrence. He deserves it. Maybe now that Netflix has picked up Cobra Kai, the show will get enough exposure for that to happen.
Billy, you're by far the best part of an already amazing show.
I was skeptical of the reboot, but because of William Zabka I gave it a shot and love the series. All of his scenes are the best. In my opinion Zabka carries the show.
William Zabka is an easy guy to root for.
I watched several interviews, convention panel talks, and Q&A with William Zabka and he answers the same questions over and over with gusto. I give him props for containing his enthusiasm like the pro he is.
However, if I was an interviewer I would do my research, and try to ask unique questions instead of repeating the same ones everyone else asks.
I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Zabka at London comic con 2019, he kindly signed my cobra Kai t-shirt as well as a photo, because of cobra Kai I am now an orange belt in Karate
It's a travesty in a doggone shame Johnny wasn't nominated for some type of an award
He's good actor but not sure if he was that good

Dude still looks great for his age! can’t believe it’s been 35 yrs since the 1st karate kid came out, those were awesome times. I was 5 when the movie came out & still watch it with my kids as if it just came out! #CobraKaiNeverDies💛🖤🐍🥋

@@alanwright3716 I'm really sad that I missed that. ;*( Most celebrities seem so vacuous and self-absorbed, so it's great that he wasn't, despite being such a memorable character in such an all-time classic film!!!! I was touched by his acting in cobra kai, too. I thought it was sad, but also beautiful how his illness had brought about a newfound maturity and earnestness in his character, and what a dramatic change it was from the jeering, clownish lackey type he was in the original film!!! It was almost like in a way, Tommy's advanced wisdom had allowed him to surpass Johnny, and temporarily become the leader of the group, almost, with the sagely advice and suggestions he gave. I also liked how he was more open-minded and trusting in Johnny's forgiveness of Kreese than the others were. It brought A WHOLE NEW DEPTH TO THE CHARACTER, just in the space of half an hour, and made me appreciate the character SO MUCH MORE!!!! I like to think Rob Garrison is up in Heaven now, reading of, and experiencing our love and appreciation of what we didn't know we had in him until it was too late.

honestly I have been hugely impacted by this show!i thought id just go on disliking that johnny Lawrence guy forever.having not ever known his side of things.what sold me was the johnny Lawrence story.to a t this was my childhood.my social awkwardness.and going through things other people would never understand.and then having a day discovering the cobra kai dojang.the dinner table scene says it all.exact replay of my own dinner table growing up.just never thought id would be able to relate to a guy who we didn't know much about.i related to the original karate kid from the Daniel larrusso aspect.having a hard working single mom and no father.and being bullied and always being angry.this really opened up new understandings about other people for me.to not always discount others side of the coin.a big thank you and mucho grande appreciaqtion for all involved in making this show a reality for us!i am thankful for William zabka and all he has put into this.ralph macchio of course!the producers.evryone from cobra kai Miguel hawk stingray aieshaand everyone I cant mention your included.everyone from the miyagi do.robbie Samantha demitry and everyone else.everyone involved much appreciation.this show inspired me and now im back finishing a thing I began a long time ago and gave up on.if that says anthing of the weight of appreciation for this!

I love watching him on interviews. This is one of my favorites. Love the REO Speedwagon part. 😄
The reason why Cobra Kai is a hit is due to the lack of good, quality tv shows. Especially, from shows and movies based off of movies/TV shows in the 80s. Disney is destroying Star Wars. Cobra Kai honors the past while, introducing new characters. Ultimately, there's good story telling in Cobra Kai.
