- After sorting out the roof leaks and noticing how unreliable The Mansion starts, I resolve those cliffhangers and move on to some more interior jobs, such as swapping leisure batteries around, replacing torn wallpaper, but most importantly chilling out next to the purple-tinted windows. 💜

Thanks for the shout out, I actually watched out moped adventure video yesterday was a fun trip. Remember Ian launching himself drunk onto the floating pontoon after our drunken night out at that crazy floating pub, ha ha was so funny!

I can't be the only one who thought OMG when you bought it. So it's great to see it having some love. I love old stuff & tell my wife that regularly....... my car is 1992, my scooter 1962 so my first motorhome will be pretty old too.
At 35 years old, The Mansion has proven the test of time.
@@SocksWithSandals Before retiring l was a tradesman and saw plenty of these parked up on drives. Many had severe A pillar & lower rot, yours seems to have escaped that, luckily.
I doubt this has ever been on the road in winter after the gritters have salted the surface.

Yes, we are. I'm in Rhodes at the mOment trying to sueeze the last out of summer. First week was lovely blue skies, and a yellow sun. Last Wednesday the jets appeared, and it's been relentless. Now got a white sky, pale sun, and the temprature has risen from a nice 25c to over 32c. A heat dome has been created. We got talking to a young' German lady the other day. She knows it all, wide awake. She said things got pretty bad in Berlin if you didn't have the jabberwocky. Keep the faith, we look forward to your videos.

Tip for the glow plugs ,soak them with wd40 or plusgas ,at least a day before you attempt to remove them , I'm glad I did .

Yes a fan belt definitely. The solenoid is a heavy duty relay that sends a high current (800 amps) directly from the battery to the starter motor rather than through the key switch in the steering column.
@@SocksWithSandals Sorry Tim if my question was a little ambiguous. What I should have said was, why have you bought a solenoid when the pre engaged starter already has one 🤔

Engine started, I could sense the pure excitement as you turned the key and it ignited, the brick work walling effect looks super, I can imagine when it's all completed it will be a total transformation, I assume it's not the shower in the Mansion you got working just yet?
