EXCELSIOR PEAK. Winter came early.

Excelsior Peak is an ideal hike from Virginia Lakes. This 9 mile hike near Bridgeport, California is an ideal route taking you to an awesome summit with towering views. The first snow of the year made this hike much more challenging but also very rewarding with snowy views of this beautiful northern section of the Eastern Sierras.
