Their long marriage is so beautiful. Over 40 years of a beautiful relationship and still going strong. That is so admirable. They are truly soul mates.

10/5/21: saw them this month at Ridgefield Playhouse, CT and they were fabulous!! Never missed a beat, their voices were strong & beautiful. What a blessing to see these legends live.

Take Adam Levine, voted sexiest male by a magazine and women oodle over him, but I think he looks hideous. I'm not good at judging males at all.

I guess what my young spirit was seeing was "those people are going to make a difference." I wasn't aware you weren't saved then until just seeing this clip. There seemed to be something special about each person in that group. Ive also admired each of them...and I am proud of the clean, fresh style of music that they recorded and sang...they have always been a good and positive image of the African-American community. I have written to both of them before, and I hope to meet them one day and experience their ministries!

Thank God for people like this and they look so good for people that have been playing and singing in the 60 so they were adults in the sixties so that makes them at least 20 years older than I am to 25 years older cuz I was just a little kid I was born in 62 I know they had in 67 68 69 so they were adults then while I was just maybe like one look up good they look God blessing for being Christian today I hear that you're over fifty years of marriage when I 51 to 52 years married still together

Praise the Lord on High! Uncontrollable drinking ruins people. God bless these two wonderful Born Again Christians! God is always in control even when we think we are. He has a way of shaking the limbs on our tree to wake us up. We need to be still to receive the many blessings.
This interview was very encouraging! I've only been married 11 yrs. but it still seems like we're on our honeymoon, and after watching and listening to them I'm excited and looking forward to the next 39 years! I KNOW it can work, we just don't see enough success stories in the news. I think if Christ is truly at the center, you have the best chance for success!
Just saw them at Queensborough CC last Sunday. They are married for 46 years and She is 72 and sings GREAT!!! What a wonderful show they did, so many hits

this woman mesmerized me when i was a kid in the late 60's early 70's, due to her stage presence and sheer beauty... I would see that face and time would stop. pretty big stuff for a 9 year old. I see and listen to her today and all i can say is ...wow. nothings changed..

I'm glad they can stay married for so long. I managed 18 and half years then I got divorced and I was so happy when I got divorced.
