The best channa jor garam is made with white vatana and not channa! So also the best ragada! It's not so easy that's why these days even street vendors avoid using them! Thanks for the recipe! But these white vatana very difficult takes times to boil evn with 10whistles
If you soak them overnight they cook faster
Put 3 drops of lime in cooker while boiling vatana.
Very wrong! White vatana takes little time to boil not hard soak in water at least 8 hour and take 4 whistle it boil almost paste.

This is a typical Goan dish called chonaycho ross.
Ross is called in konkani or Marathi, name of dish like chicken Ross , chana Ross , dal ross

Hi ponto I made the vatana roce curry it's colour came red while the one you made was yellow in colour 😮😮
Colour depends on the chillies, may be you used Kashmiri red chillies
A re baba u could fry all masalss n onion together alongwith curry leaves n then fry tge coconut .n these chillies will mske the gravy red
Aunty it doesn't work that way with masala you cannot saute onion, step by step follow my recipe and you will get it right.
