The beaches here in Ecuador are some of the most beautiful in the world. I am especially fond of Olon's beach. But like with all natural bodies of water, common sense and caution is always good practice. There are some beaches here that have dangerous currents, riptides and undertows. Many of these are marked, but many are not. Sadly a 15 year old boy drowned yesterday at la playa Cancun in Ancon, just a little south of Salinas. Everyone have fun and enjoy Ecuador's wonderful beaches, but please be safe. Much love.

Lol, the crazy thing is I'm always telling her to get on the inside because she tends to want to walk on the outside and I personally hate it.
