- The United States and the Taliban have signed a historic peace deal. If it's upheld, the agreement, which will be closely scrutinised by the Americans, will lead to the complete withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan in 14 months. Ali Mustafa reports from Doha, Qatar.

The models of sharia and interpretation of Islam by the middle East, Isis and Taliban, Al Quaeda etc do not appeal to my taste......it reminds me of the pre reformist Bible used by the Christians in the medieval era....that didn't do them much good did it?

Wahhabism (or Deobandi) version of Islam and it's variants as practiced in Saudi? The two may have differences but they are quite similar in how they manifest as the basis of running a society

You know what happened after Russia withdraw their Army from Afghanistan. Taliban stated killing it's own people innocent civilians including the President Najibullah. Killing him brutal. How can you say? Peace will occur, no way, I mean situation will be more worse. Afghanistan people are incapable of protecting their own country from this Terrorist groups. I think again people will be brutally killed for not following the Terrorist rules. Again Another country will come. This wil be again repeated I think. Many will migrate to other countries. How long will you depend on others to protect you. Don't forget if things go wrong again Trump said we will go back swiftly they will also not know how did they come so soon again.

'Terrorist' isn't simply 'who attack 9/11 towers', read the definition again, and yes Taliban is an islamic terror group
also, guess who hides Osama bin laden? yes, its the Taliban. So in a way you can suspect that they're also connected or at least approve of 9/11 terror attacks (after all they're islamic radical terror group as well). The US asked Taliban to hand him over, and they refuse, thus the whole invasion began
