    I fix the wobble with a thick felt washer under the clutch. Easy and cheap fix.

    A very fair and thorough review. I’d love to see an A/B video w the Roland!

    What settings did you use? I also have a td17 and Yamaha hh stand but can't get it to trigger properly. I keep on getting missed open HH hits.

      I am using the VH-10 settings on the TD-17, I believe. It does take some fiddling. let me know more specifics and I'll see if i can be helpful.

    Good morning, do you know if this will work with DDrum sound modules? I have a DD5X and I am trying to find a stand mount type controller that will work and ca't seem to get any help. Thank you.

      Sorry- I don't have a DDrum module to test with. I'll keep an eye out for a used module in the hopes that I can test Ddrum compatibility with future products. Thanks for watching!

    I appreciate your review. What are the chances of this sensor working with DIY low volume cymbals sitting on top of? I'm guessing it wouldn't seat within a hihat cymbal hole; but rather cymbal bottom seated atop the button?

      The bottom of the Hi hat clutch is what actually presses the plunger to activate the open/closed sounds. So if I’m understanding you, you want to simply place the low volume hi hat bottom on top of the controller, then use your top hi hat with the clutch? Then pressing the pedal would bring the cymbals together, then further to press the plunger?
      I think there are a whole lot of variables that would keep this from working effectively. That said, let me see if I can get a hold of some low volume hats and give it a try.

    Hi there. Lemon released their new 2-piece hi-hat a while ago, are you planning to review that?

      @myfavoritedrumgear  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m hoping to- I’ve heard mixed reviews so far, so I’d like to get my hands on one. Thanks for watching!

      @@myfavoritedrumgear I haven't seen any reviews of that hi-hat so far.

      I just got them. The clutch won't fit a standard hihat stand. I tried a work around with parts from my vh11 set up. I could get it to work but the sensitivity compared to the Roland is lacking. Had I not had the other parts I wouldn't have had a way to try them.
