Even though they got the best of us a lot during that time, the rivalry with Buffalo was incredible. Teams & fans disliked each other. I remember both regions would go crazy the weeks of those games. Hard to find that type of rivalry/dislike in the league anymore.
You must've forgotten about the Saints-Falcons rivalry, one of the most heated in the NFL, fans and teams alike

I Went to many games in the Orange Bowl and i think the only win The Bills beat Miami in the OB was the last year in 1986 before they moved. Thats a whole lot of winning by Miami.

Buffalo was kryptonite for Dolphins in the early 90's. They cost us a couple trips to the super bowl.

In 1992, they played the afc, championship, they were better in 1993 then he got hurt, and the beat Dallas on thanksgiving , wish Marino played that years, 83,,84,85, 90,92,93,94, best teams for marino

I always felt the Dolphins would gone to the Super Bowl in 1993 had Marino not had the freak injury in Cleveland and do not forget about Troy Vincent getting injured on a punt return, they were 9-2 on Thanksgiving

@@rodman1163 Dolphins shoulda won that game anyhow refs gave Dallas the ball on an obvious play Kitby was down prior to a fumble on the ~9 that Miami likely would have put up atleast a fg should that call not have been blown.

I was extremely saddened when the “Marx Brothers” era came to an end, BUT Irving Fryar certainly was a stud receiver. Very dependable with huge play potential.

The Dolphins were 9-2 on Thanksgiving Day after Leon Lett muffed that blocked FG, but then lost their final five games of the season, missing the playoffs altogether. As of the 2020 NFL season, Miami is the only team to reach 9-2 and not reach the playoffs. We used to call them the "December Dolphins".

Yes indeed. They looked solid with some good weapons(Jackson, Byars,Fryar,Ingram,Mcduffie,Kirby, etc)..... It was heartbreaking to see Marino go down with that phantom,turn, Achilles tear.

the defensive side was more of the problem there was more injuries there with Offerdahl and Vincent(which was on a dumb special teams play in the Steelers game). Even so we shoulda made the playoffs because Ingram was inbounds on that TD against the Patriots.
I liked how much Bryan hated the Bills at this time, I did too for how much they were in Marinos way.
How great were the highlights they literally told the story of the game unlike today

That '93 Dolphins team was very good, but when Marino tore his Achilles tendon in Cleveland that year and went on IR , the team wasn't as good
