Don't worry ! You're never too boring ! It's always nice to catch up with you, wether you have a lot or not to talk about. 40 + minutes for an episode is pretty nice 😉I'm currently knitting the Robinson Wrap cardigan by Florence Miller while watching your episode. See you in the next episode !
I’M READY!!! Sorry for shouting 🤣 but I’m excited for quarter 2 Ghibli & the new launch, as April is my birthday month, so any yarn I get shall be a gift to myself 😊. Ooo I’ll check out the book recommendations. Have you read the seventh bride by t.kingfisher or a haunting in the arctic by c.j cooke? I really love the coffeehouse fade sweater it’s so pretty 🥰. I feel inspired to make it using when your next advent comes out. I’m currently reading a thousand steps into night by traci chee and I’m knitting a sub pop tee by sarah k gordon. Great vlog Mel 😊🧡. P.s sorry for the long comment!
one of my yarny goals for this year was to try a colourwork sock and the aita looks really beautiful but not to daunting for a colourwork newbie! i might grab the pattern.
Read a book you might like, Nettle and Bone by T Kingfisher - it reminded me of a classic dark fairy tale, loved the main character. There’s a bit of humour, some magic and action and there’s a bone dog and a demon chicken.. Knitting the Orchid cardigan by Julia Wilkens in two colour brioche, a Cloud sweater by Petite Knit in Nutiden and mohair in blue green and Pohjola colour work sweater in gold camel and charcoal.
I love all your book recommendations! I don’t usually like Moshfegh’s books, but I read Lapvona when it first came out and I’ve thought about it every day since then
I totally get why she might not be someone’s cup of tea 😅 I honestly haven’t given her anything over 3 stars but I thought I’d give her another chance!
Have you read Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? I really enjoyed reading it this month. I enjoy sci fi and looking for more. I'm finishing up The Midnight Library (and living it!) and I picked up Citizens of the Galaxy by Robert Heinlein from the library and so far it's pretty good for classic scifi.
I read that quite a while back, but do remember enjoying it! Also really liked the Midnight Library too 🙌🏼 & thanks for thes sci-fi rec! I’ll have to check it out 😊
I'm the same way, I love horror but can't do true crime. If you haven't yet, listen to The Magnus Archives! Its a fictional horror anthology style podcast that has a plotted-from-day-one overarching story that becomes more and more the focal point while still keeping a "case of the week" element. It's so good, and they just recently started up a spin-off that continues one some of the threads left behind at the series finale. Not really horror but fills a similar need for me: Myths and Legends podcast. I used to love it, but I got super behind and haven't listened in years. They retell myths/legends/folklore/fairy tales, etc and I really like the narrators storytelling abilities.
Just to be sure, sock sets will be available in the preorder also? So if we’d like all three sock sets, just shipped together it’s a possibility correct? Or are sock sets limited to the initial monthly orders?
Socks sets will be available during the preorder! There’s going to be a listing for all 3 sock sets so that you can just put that in your cart and have them expected to ship in June 😊 hope that helps!

I'm not sure if you know this, but the Elena Ferrante book is a four part series. I read the first three but haven't read the fourth yet.
Yes! The rest of the books are in my to-read-list! I'm hoping to slowly make my way through them 😊
Beautiful socks!
Tell me how you knit the stripes on the one sweater. Jog- less technique?
Thank you! I used the jogless stripe technique here: nimble-needles.com/tutorials/knitting-jogless-stripes-in-the-round/
