One main point, the main Palace building is in very good condition, on it the 4 chathri and central dome has lost partly the cement plasters exposing the inner rod mesh! Even, if for another century no maintenance is carried out, still the Palace will be standing strong, may be the chathri and dome would have collapsed, but, let's be positive😃😃👍👍

I treasure n cherish my moments at Rajendra Vilas Palace The interior of the Palace is awesome n I believe the Palace building is very strong I just hope the Mysore Royal family open the gates of the Palace to the public similar to Mysore Palace or Amba Vilas Palace hence generating revenue to atleast maintain the Palace! If anybody tells me the Palace is in bad shape n can collapse anytime or it is haunted ,,,, I will not trust them!

Rajendra Vilas Palace belongs to the Wadiyars and Government will not renovate it but Maharani Madam has already started the renovation work and they are planning to complete the renovation of the Palace by the year end. A Hotel is coming up a la Lalitha Mahal Palace!
