I have the Gambler, which I purchased at a Gun Show many years ago. I never used it for anything but I read things about Bill Bagwell and I saw it at that gun show here in Florida and it was Sunday afternoon with closing time was about 30 minutes away. This Vender had the Gambler Bowie, made by Ontario, priced at $250 but I decided to bargain with him because I felt that he really wanted to make a sale before closing time and I got it for $150. Every time I decide to sell it at a Gun Show, I take it out of the sheath, into my hand and then I change my mind! Just having it is a thrill to hold a great Bowie Knife!
They show up on eBay but you will pay for them unfortunately I got lucky with my gambler but the others with the hells bell guard are going to coast $4-600
A dagger that is sharp all the way on both sides is not a false edge it double edged or dule edged is it is only sharp on a small part of the Dagger blade on one side it not double edged but false edged as he started, but when it's sharp completely on both side of the Dagger is double edge like the Applegate Farbairn Combat ll Dagger 🗡️
Very nice! Been wanting one of these for a while now. I was going to get the Cold Steel Laredo but now they come with a crappy kydex type sheath. Which is just blasphemy in my opinion lol! Great video as always!
You have a point 😎 but you can have a sheath made and there are other sheath made of leather that fit it like a glove , so I'm hoping that GSM Cold Steel being it back in 01 tool steel os A2 tool steel 😎 along with the legendary Natchez Bowie.
Most production knives companies don’t use them the only ones I can think of is these and custom makers . Most people carry guns and if you can carry a gun their isn’t much use for a ccw Bowie
Since I am now entering the magical land of knives I wanted to ask you the following. Can these knives be seen useful with claims in a modern man's activity?
What would be a modern man’s activity? These knives are made for activities that include drawing blood not cutting twine or opting boxes . Indeed the need of this kind of tool is rear but sometimes in in certain circumstances they would be useful
I called bill Bagwell my self and got put on his list. hopefully by the end of September 2017 I will be struting around with a genuine Bagwell on my hip!!!!
@@h__n1092 He probably got it just before Mr. Bagwell passed on , his waiting list was 4 1/2 to 5 years 🎯 because his knives was in high demand as weapons and collectables. ⚖️🥇🎯🎖️🎯🥇⚖️

I missed my chance at a Bagwell but maybe I’ll be able to someday get a Ontario Bagwell Hell’s Belle or Stealth, Fortress or Midnight.

Not according to historical sword fencing false edge simply means top edge when it comes to sword fighting
