Even as a baby John was epic. John is the greatest and most versatile male vocalist of all time. His diction and clarity is perfection. The passion and emotion John puts into this and everything he does is second to none. John can sing anything to perfection.
There are many stories that John "found his voice" making Whispering Jack.

He always had the voice, the problem was that he was embraced by the blue rinse set after his King of Pop days up until just after this time and so was not considered to be cool by the kids from about 1973 - 1980. Johnny Farnham was just not cool in that period. I remember seeing him on the ABC on Farnham and Byrne and thinking how great his voice was but the fact that my 80 year old Nanna idolised him,was enough for me at age 15 to not listen to his music, he was in a show called Bobby Dazzler which was the daggiest show on TV to us high school kids. Uncovered in hindsight is a great album and should have sold millions but he had to wait for LRB to make him cool again.
The voice was always there , Whispering Jack was John Farnham’s rebirth .
Sad about John's operation. John is a tough human and like John Blackman, will find a way to keep entertaining us - but only if he wants to. I had the privilege in 1997 at my home pool party where I found John making the float level right in the toilet. He is an ex-plumber. "The Voice" has many other qualities - like being married since 1973.

Besides Johns beautiful voice. His appreciation to whoever backs him shows the beautiful person that he is. People are clapping to him yet he turns and bows to the piano player.

Such a baby faced John you know it's the 70s when there's a brown suit involved!🤣 Between his stint as a "Johnny Farnham - pop star" in the 60s and his "come back" in the mid 80s, John did all the Aussie tonight shows as a regular thing. He also had a couple of TV shows where he did skits and sang with guests.
Consider that the original version of this was highlighted by one of the most angelic voices ever, Garfunkel. It's impressive anyone even attempts to cover it.
This was when he was just around 30, a couple of years before he joined Little River Band. We were so lucky that people like Don Lane kept John in the spot light for a while there, when his career was spiralling.
Agreed, he should get some kind of metal for that! Imagine if somehow John fell through the cracks. The world just wouldn't be the same! In my opinion of course 😏, 🙋🏻♂️ how are you hun? Feels like it's been a while since last time. Hope all is well❤️🔥😉👍🚌💨💨💨💨

Flawless,,, he was 30 yrs old..wow...He has always been the voice. This song was originally done by Simon and Garfunkel. Written by Paul Simon in 1969, recorded by them in 1970. And was always a very popular song. John's version is the only one I love other than the original.
That was The Don Lane Show. An adult variety show that ran twice a week (I think) late night, on Channel 9 for quite a few years. Don was a tall lively, outgoing & popular American who knew a lot of people and was familiar with Las Vegas.

Yes, puzzles relaxes me, it’s a good stress reliever for me. I tend to block out everything around me, when I do a puzzle. That one, took me about a day & half if that. Hopefully he’ll see it one day. You never know! Love this reactions guys, I’ll put it up on the fan page for sure. That was on the Don Lane (may he R.I.P.), show, he had John on their whenever he could, especially when he was with the Little River Band!

Late 70’s John was doing the suburban club circuit . He didn’t have recording contract and didn’t have a establish backing band . He was using the inexperienced house bands .
John was doing the Don Lane Show a lot because gave him some income. This probably just before he sign up Glenn Wheatley to take over management .
His cover of GEORGIA is Dope!
John's performance of The Beatles "Help" on the Don Lane show was the birthplace of John Whispering Jack Farnham.

This was before he joined Little River Band. Aussie artists often covered overseas songs. John was offered Wind Beneath your Wings but never recorded it but he sang it at a football final. The video is on TH-cam.

The most frustrating time of my life was doing a 1000 piece puzzle. It wasn't until I was placing the last piece that I realized that there was a picture on the other side. Ha! Ha!.
