I think one big injustice would be to the majority of special attackers, I mean they don't get priority. The only only special priority move in the game is Vacuum Wave. And Out of 721 Pokes only 15 get this move.

Why no special attack counter abilities?! Even status moves are countered by Magic Bounce, Magic Guard, and the status condition/debuff immunities.
The "lisk" from "Heliolisk" comes from the fact it's partially based on a basi[lisk] lizard, which are able to walk over water - hence why it's able to learn Surf.
Absol, a pokemon associated endlessly with disaster and considered the harbinger of all natural disasters. Razor Wind, it's most associated move is in reference to hurricanes (don't even get me started on how its a special attack and Absol's a physical attacker), it also learns Blizzard, Thunder/Thunderbolt, Sandstorm, and Rain dance. However, one of the only moves it could make use of in lieu of natural disasters, Earthquake, it cannot learn. Seriously someone please explain how this thing learns Ice Beam but not Earthquake.

Samurott deserves Shell Smash just as much as those other two. Or what about Aurorus and Diancie being unable to learn Power Gem? They have actually gems on their bodies and they are Rock type. And give Lilligant some more special options please. Hidden Power ain't doing shit for nobody. This was a great idea for a series btw.

Personally i think the biggest movepool injustice is aerodactyl not learning head smash and brave bird given that he has the ability rock head. Would this make aerodactyl too good? A personal injustice is that Chandelure doesn't have access to Aura Sphere or Focus Blast. He already learns a tone of ball and/or blast based moves like Shadow Ball, Fire Blast, and most importantly ENERGY BALL. Why does a fire type learn Energy Ball? Type coverage. So why not Aura Sphere or Focus Blast? It's not like adding the extra coverage would make him broken. Plus, to get Hidden Power Fighting on him, you have to completely mess up the 31/x/31/31/31/31 IV spread that most people run on it. Chandelure NEEDS Aura Sphere or Focus Blast.

What I don't understand is why Breloom loses the ability to learn Spore by level up after evolution, yet can still learn Stun Spore by level up, and can still have Effect Spore as an ability.
To further expand on Scrafty's injustices: Why the hell does it not know Beat Up or Play Rough? As Callum mentioned, Scrafties beat up anything that enters their territory. This already proves that it is a huge injustice that Scrafty got conned out of these moves as he should easily be able to learn it.
Charizard doesn't learn Sacred Fire for mega charizard X. Mega Charizard X (Megazard X) has blue flames coming out of its mouth, Sacred fire is a blue flame that comes with out of the mouth. Not enough for you? Mega Charizard X is more physical than special, Sacred Fire is a physical blue fire move. NEED more of an explanation? Every time Megazard X in the anime used a fire type move, it turned blue and yet Megazard X doesn't get the one physical blue fire move.

Amazing top ten series so far! I was surprised to see Pedro be a part of the series but he is definitely a welcome addition to the series. Not sure if you have the episodes already have the theme for the next episode predetermined but may I suggest the injustices of pokemon that get certain moves, like Elgyem getting Steel Wing and that sort of stuff. Anyways still a great episode and series so far and can't wait for the next episode!
There is a rational reason for pangoro to learn Gunk shot. he is trowing a garbage can! if that's not dirty (dark) I don't know what it is! ... well that's just more reason for Scrafty to get it.
Great video! An additional injustice I'd like to point out is how some fairy types learn 1 or none fairy type moves. Like for example how Togekiss and Mr. Mine both can't learn Moonblast but Oddish (who isn't even a fairy type) can learn Moonblast??
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but not only would giving Ampharos Tail Glow be OP, but in Japanese, the move is called "Firefly Glow", and Ampharos isn't a bug. Volbeat is a bug, and Manaphy has the bioluminescence argument going for it.
Although Ampharos is my favourite pokemon, i agree tailglow would make it OP. Imagine a tail glow of a mega ampharos, that special attack stat would be game breaking
Given how they keep breaking pokémon even further with every new installment/remake I wouldn't be surprised some of this actually happened in the future...

So I was curious about the tail glow thing so I looked it up on bulbapedia and noticed something. In Japanese tail glow is actually called "firefly light" so it wouldn't make as much sense for ampharos. Although I have no idea why manaphy gets the move.
The main thing I view as an injustice for Pokemon move pools is drudigon's inability to learn dragon rush, a fierce tackle exuding menace, fits a grumpy cave dragon with rough features right? It would also give him a dragon Stab that would benefit from his sheer force ability, so that's notable too.
I think the greater injustice should be why pinsir doesn't get megahorn lol...I mean looks at those imposing horns! Sure the name is mega horn (singular) but a lot of dual horned pokemon like bouffalant (but not tauros for some reason) get it...as for X scissor...it's kind of a requirement to have two blades to make a scissor...all pokemon that get it have two sharp blade-like appendages to work with, two horns, to claws, etc...the only weird one is ariados...It has those things on its back I guess...I seriously think they just gave it X-scissor out of pity since it gets no other physical bug STAB besides bug bite and I think leech life? and maybe keldeo (but I think the main reason it got it is because the rest of the swords of justice have it and they all have two horns. furthermore, it is a SWORD of justice meaning that its horn is probably more like a blade)...heracross just has one horn (an unblade-like one at that) and I don't think its dinky claws register as blades by any means...as for U-turn, it seems to be a move reserved for agile pokemon...not clunky pokemon...a hulking beetle (with a surprising speed tier though) is not what I would call agile by any means...it's fast, but not agile lol...
Megahorn isn't very good, the accuracy is just horrible, as for heracross, the only other option is pin missle, which is only useful when it mega evolves, I think heracross Has some claws on its arms to make use of x scissor, if not then whatever, but it should still have access to u-turn lol
Misdreavus not learning Draining Kiss. "It gets nourishment from fear that it absorbs into its red orbs." Or something to that effect, has been the focus of it's dex entries since it was added to the games. Not to mention it's already an impressive eviolite user, just missing a form of decent sustain.
How much you wanna bet that Gunk Shot was meant for Scrafty but some where along the way the developers got it mixed up with the other Dark/Fighting type Pangoro? I'd put at least $100 down on this
Rayquaza's Pokedex from Ruby says it "never descends to the ground", yet it can learn Earthquake and Bulldoze through technical machines and Mud Slap and Earth Power through tutoring. Also can we talk about past injustices? Nuzleaf/Shiftry not getting razor leaf in Gen III, Pinsir not having STAB moves for three straight generations, Flareon not getting Flare Blitz until Gen VI, etc.
Musharna - Gets Moonlight, doesn't get Moonblast. Lunatone - Is a Moon, gets Moonblast as of 6th gen, Doesn't get Moonlight. Solrock - Is a Sun, gets Fire related moves, doesn't get Morning Sun.
Biggest Injustice (and i know Pedro and Tara prob know imma say this cuz i say it on their streams) is that Archeops has defeatist. If it got Rock Head or even Reckless it would be awesome. And it doesnt have brave bird. ITS THE "FIRST BIRD" POKEMON! Like come on. Archeops was so half assed but its such a great mon.
Well with Blastoise it makes sense as to why it can't learn shell smash. Its guns are in that shell, and its also the main reason for blastoises well known bulk. If you remove blastoises shell, you'd be getting rid of both its main offense AND defense capabilities. Plus, can you imagine a MEGA blastoise shelless?
My biggest pet peeve in all of Pokemon, as of right now, is that Yveltal gets this awesome ability that powers up Dark-type moves, but it's signature move is Flying-type, for some reason.
Moves sets are based of the Japanese names for the moves, so the reason that lots of pokemon don't get the moves you expect or get some moves that seem out of place is because in the native Japanese they make sense but then when translated into english names get changed and things become confusing.
For ability injustices I hope Rotom Fan having Levitate is number 1...it literally has no need since it's Flying Type! Even MoldBreakers can't hit it with Ground so what's the point?
You could hop on the back of Gyrados and fly around. The dragon it's based on does float around in the sky without wings. Also he is one of the few that doesn't get egg moves.
I feel like an injustice could be that Zoroark doesn't learn at least one other elemental move for an attack. Zoroark needs to keep it's identity hidden but all it nows beyond dark moves are bug, fighting, fire, grass, ground, psychic, ghost and flying. (and some of those elemental attacks aren't even that good.) It should at least be able to learn the other elemental attacks to fool your opponent during battle.
An argument for why Gyarados doesn't learn Fly, it's Flying typing is most likely based on a koinobori, or carp-shaped wind sock flown on Children's Day (heck there was even an episode of Poke'mon based on the festivities that had a Gyarados themed koinobori, along with it's Gen VI sprite showing it act like a long flag flapping in the breeze). Now because flags/wind socks are tied to posts, it'd be pretty weird for something based off of one to go flying off
An actual injustice in my opinion is Pidgeot's move pool. If you choose to raise one when you have yet to beat the game, it's move pool has such low power attacks and so few tm moves you can get early on it's painful to watch it try to attack something 20 levels lower and it not killing it in one hit.
Here's another injustice for Ampharos. It doesn't get Flash Cannon. It's description is "The user gathers all its light energy and releases all at once". This means it's light based attack and Ampharos is known as the Light Pokémon.
Definitely agree with Heliolisk and solar beam. The move would be a great asset to it and it's not like it's counters would drastically change. Snorlax and explosion though? That's going to need more of a concrete reason.
I think Tail Glow is restricted for gameplay reasons. Volbeat is terribad and Manaphy is a legendary, but the Mareep line is fairly common in games it features in. It would make sweeping enemies in the main game super easy.
Biggest movepool injustice IMO is that Regigigas cannot learn Rest. You find Regigigas sleeping back in Gen 4, it can learn both Snore and Sleep Talk, and Rest would be at least a somewhat viable way of getting pass Regigigas crippling Slow Start ability.

Great video! An additional injustice I'd like to point out is how some fairy types learn 1 or none fairy type moves. Like for example how Togekiss and Mr. Mine both can't learn Moonblast but Oddish (who isn't even a fairy type) can learn Moonblast??
How about we turn it around: Top 10 moves Pokemon SHOULDN'T be able to learn. You can start with Beheeyem getting Steel Wing... like seriously, WHY?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but not only would giving Ampharos Tail Glow be OP,
but in Japanese, the move is called "Firefly Glow", and Ampharos isn't a bug.
Volbeat is a bug, and Manaphy has the bioluminescence argument going for it.
Although Ampharos is my favourite pokemon, i agree tailglow would make it OP. Imagine a tail glow of a mega ampharos, that special attack stat would be game breaking
Given how they keep breaking pokémon even further with every new installment/remake I wouldn't be surprised some of this actually happened in the future...

Another one for heliolisk, HE DOESN'T GET DISCHARGE. In the Anime he is shown LITERALLY shooting thunderbolts in different directions JUST. LIKE. DISCHARGE. NOT TO MENTION HE CAN LEARN PARABOLIC CHARGE which is the same thing but weaker and healing and it would help so much for doubles. Thanks for listening to my rant.

So I was curious about the tail glow thing so I looked it up on bulbapedia and noticed something. In Japanese tail glow is actually called "firefly light" so it wouldn't make as much sense for ampharos. Although I have no idea why manaphy gets the move.

The main thing I view as an injustice for Pokemon move pools is drudigon's inability to learn dragon rush, a fierce tackle exuding menace, fits a grumpy cave dragon with rough features right? It would also give him a dragon Stab that would benefit from his sheer force ability, so that's notable too.
I would have included heracross, why the fuck doesn't he get x scissor or u-turn??

I think the greater injustice should be why pinsir doesn't get megahorn lol...I mean looks at those imposing horns! Sure the name is mega horn (singular) but a lot of dual horned pokemon like bouffalant (but not tauros for some reason) get it...as for X scissor...it's kind of a requirement to have two blades to make a scissor...all pokemon that get it have two sharp blade-like appendages to work with, two horns, to claws, etc...the only weird one is ariados...It has those things on its back I guess...I seriously think they just gave it X-scissor out of pity since it gets no other physical bug STAB besides bug bite and I think leech life? and maybe keldeo (but I think the main reason it got it is because the rest of the swords of justice have it and they all have two horns. furthermore, it is a SWORD of justice meaning that its horn is probably more like a blade)...heracross just has one horn (an unblade-like one at that) and I don't think its dinky claws register as blades by any means...as for U-turn, it seems to be a move reserved for agile pokemon...not clunky pokemon...a hulking beetle (with a surprising speed tier though) is not what I would call agile by any means...it's fast, but not agile lol...
Megahorn isn't very good, the accuracy is just horrible, as for heracross, the only other option is pin missle, which is only useful when it mega evolves, I think heracross Has some claws on its arms to make use of x scissor, if not then whatever, but it should still have access to u-turn lol

Misdreavus not learning Draining Kiss. "It gets nourishment from fear that it absorbs into its red orbs." Or something to that effect, has been the focus of it's dex entries since it was added to the games. Not to mention it's already an impressive eviolite user, just missing a form of decent sustain.

How much you wanna bet that Gunk Shot was meant for Scrafty but some where along the way the developers got it mixed up with the other Dark/Fighting type Pangoro? I'd put at least $100 down on this
I'm surprised that Callum did not mention that Delibird can get gunk shot when he was explaining why Scrafty can't learn it while Pangoro can learn it
Rayquaza's Pokedex from Ruby says it "never descends to the ground", yet it can learn Earthquake and Bulldoze through technical machines and Mud Slap and Earth Power through tutoring.
Also can we talk about past injustices? Nuzleaf/Shiftry not getting razor leaf in Gen III, Pinsir not having STAB moves for three straight generations, Flareon not getting Flare Blitz until Gen VI, etc.
Yanmega doesn't get fly even though its heartgold pokedex entry says it can easily support a grown adult in flight.

Musharna - Gets Moonlight, doesn't get Moonblast.
Lunatone - Is a Moon, gets Moonblast as of 6th gen, Doesn't get Moonlight.
Solrock - Is a Sun, gets Fire related moves, doesn't get Morning Sun.

Biggest Injustice (and i know Pedro and Tara prob know imma say this cuz i say it on their streams) is that Archeops has defeatist. If it got Rock Head or even Reckless it would be awesome. And it doesnt have brave bird. ITS THE "FIRST BIRD" POKEMON! Like come on. Archeops was so half assed but its such a great mon.
Well with Blastoise it makes sense as to why it can't learn shell smash. Its guns are in that shell, and its also the main reason for blastoises well known bulk. If you remove blastoises shell, you'd be getting rid of both its main offense AND defense capabilities. Plus, can you imagine a MEGA blastoise shelless?
My biggest pet peeve in all of Pokemon, as of right now, is that Yveltal gets this awesome ability that powers up Dark-type moves, but it's signature move is Flying-type, for some reason.

I must say, I completely agree with the Garchomp, Gengar, Zangoose, and Ampharos segments.
This video is so well made, and it's an awesome idea for a series.
Moves sets are based of the Japanese names for the moves, so the reason that lots of pokemon don't get the moves you expect or get some moves that seem out of place is because in the native Japanese they make sense but then when translated into english names get changed and things become confusing.
This new series is terrific. Garchomp should get Dragon Dance too.

For ability injustices I hope Rotom Fan having Levitate is number 1...it literally has no need since it's Flying Type! Even MoldBreakers can't hit it with Ground so what's the point?
You could hop on the back of Gyrados and fly around. The dragon it's based on does float around in the sky without wings. Also he is one of the few that doesn't get egg moves.
I feel like an injustice could be that Zoroark doesn't learn at least one other elemental move for an attack. Zoroark needs to keep it's identity hidden but all it nows beyond dark moves are bug, fighting, fire, grass, ground, psychic, ghost and flying. (and some of those elemental attacks aren't even that good.) It should at least be able to learn the other elemental attacks to fool your opponent during battle.
The biggest injustice of all is that smeargle can't sketch chatter.

An argument for why Gyarados doesn't learn Fly, it's Flying typing is most likely based on a koinobori, or carp-shaped wind sock flown on Children's Day (heck there was even an episode of Poke'mon based on the festivities that had a Gyarados themed koinobori, along with it's Gen VI sprite showing it act like a long flag flapping in the breeze). Now because flags/wind socks are tied to posts, it'd be pretty weird for something based off of one to go flying off

An actual injustice in my opinion is Pidgeot's move pool. If you choose to raise one when you have yet to beat the game, it's move pool has such low power attacks and so few tm moves you can get early on it's painful to watch it try to attack something 20 levels lower and it not killing it in one hit.
Here's another injustice for Ampharos. It doesn't get Flash Cannon. It's description is "The user gathers all its light energy and releases all at once". This means it's light based attack and Ampharos is known as the Light Pokémon.

Definitely agree with Heliolisk and solar beam. The move would be a great asset to it and it's not like it's counters would drastically change. Snorlax and explosion though? That's going to need more of a concrete reason.
I agree 100% with Ampharos not getting Tail Glow. Some Pokemon it would just make sense for them to learn the move, like Lanturn.

I think Tail Glow is restricted for gameplay reasons. Volbeat is terribad and Manaphy is a legendary, but the Mareep line is fairly common in games it features in. It would make sweeping enemies in the main game super easy.
Gengar with Nasty Plot would be truly terrifying (if it managed to set up)
Biggest movepool injustice IMO is that Regigigas cannot learn Rest. You find Regigigas sleeping back in Gen 4, it can learn both Snore and Sleep Talk, and Rest would be at least a somewhat viable way of getting pass Regigigas crippling Slow Start ability.
