If the ladies arn't willing to ride you like a rodeo bull then you probably need to hit the gym or win the lotto. Don't pay full price for GS...fantastic watch but it has shit value on the secondary market
Never pay full price but personally would never buy preowned. For me, a big part of getting my grand Seiko was the perfect polishing and gleaming surfaces- I don’t mind putting my own scratches on which inevitably happened but I don’t want other peoples on there and you can pick up new ones grey market for a decent 20% off easily. Probably more if You wait

This is exactly how I picture Grand Seiko buyers - insecure and pathetic.
The opposite is true. GS buyers are secure enough to by a watch just because it is artfully made. Many Rolex buyers are insecure because they want to get noticed and/or were told to go Rolex by some watch guru perpetually going through a midlife crises.
