  • Believe Me If All Those Endearing Young Charms is a lovely Irish song originally written by Thomas Moore and later sung by Irish harpist, Mary O'Hara. These lyrics give hope that true love still exists in the world! (see below)
    LYRICS
    Believe me, if all those endearing young charms,
    Which I gaze on so fondly today,
    Were to change by to-morrow, and fleet in mine arms,
    Like fairy-gifts, fading away!
    Thou wouldst still be ador'd as this moment thou art,
    Let thy loveliness fade as it will;
    And, around the dear ruin, each wish of my heart
    Would entwine itself verdantly still!
    It is not while beauty and youth are thine own,
    And thy cheeks unprofan'd by a tear,
    That the fervour and faith of a soul can be known,
    To which time will but make thee more dear!
    No! the heart, that has truly lov'd, never forgets,
    But as truly loves on to the close;
    As the sun-flower turns to her god, when he sets,
    The same look which she turn'd when he rose!

    Praise GOD.!!!
    What a sight & sound of beauty, grace, talent.!!
    GOD bless you, young Lady.
    What an awesome display of womanly beauty and a demonstration of the heights that a woman of honorable bearing & composure can command. Her hair us attired, in a sensible and rational manner that displays its beauty; her hair frames the admirable beauty of her face; her instrument is well tuned, and of an ageless quality; the song & tune are ably & wonderfully sung.
    Contrasting this with the filth put forth by the satanic & degenerate musick industry of late modernity, plainly demonstrates the depravity of the latter & grace of the former.
