Thanks for the tip on the fish emulsion for the green leafy plants. Will do that this afternoon. My eggplants are nuts also...I'm overrun with it and no one eats it in the house but me! LOL Keep saying I'm going to pull it out, but it's doing so well, I feel guilty! LOL!!
You’re welcome! Fish emulsions is my favorite fertilizer for the fall garden. Lol it’s the same in my house. I started hiding it in potatoes dishes to use it up. My kids haven’t really noticed. Lol have you pulled your plants yet?
I love it! It seems like if you miss a day or two, something new grows. I have yellow beans that I didn't notice and have been watching/stalking to grow and then they appeared out of nowhere! Lol
Great to see you and the garden! Your slicing tomato plants sure gave their bamboo supports a run for their money huh? 😀 So excited about that loofah! It must love the heat. Happy birthday to you! I hope your coworkers spoil you tomorrow and I hope you have a relaxing and enjoyable birthday weekend!
Lol yes they did. They are still growing too. I’m going to work on figuring out a better staking system next year. Me too! I couldn’t believe it when I saw them. Thank you, they did. It was very nice!
Yaaay your loofah is showing up. It’s so exciting to harvest them shake shake shake. I started mine indoors February and planted in ground April. Thanks for your garden tour.
Hi Asia! I'm so super jealous of all your pepper plants 😄. I have about 12 different pepper plants...and they're all nice and green, but only 1 bell pepper plants just started giving me 1 small bell pepper weekly. 3 jalapeños peppers...nothing! I did just order a pack of shishito peppers to plant for next year. Congratulations again on your loofah plant🎉, and Happy Birthday!⚘️🎂🍾🎉
Hey Elwanda! It’s super hot where you are. Peppers drop their flowers when it’s too hot from what I’ve heard. I’m gonna be jealous of you in a month when you still have peppers and mine are gone lol. You’re going to love the Shishito peppers. So delicious. Thank you!
I grow a tomato plant all year in my south facing window I’ve gotten cherry sized tomatoes all summer. I just started a new plant for inside. I’m going to try a plant light.🤷♀️
O that’s awesome! I don’t have a south facing window that isn’t covered 😩. My back porch covers my south facing windows. I may try one under the grow lights. Thanks for the comment friend!
You really do well with bags. I thought about it and went with those Walmart bins. I will use them till they dry and crack up in a year or two, then consider a raised bed or small greenhouse.
Nice fall garden. I started late this year, seedlings in August. My kale, collards and other plants are still tiny. Expected frost is in December though.
Your pepper plants look so healthy! Have you considered overwintering them, especially the shishitos(?) you particularly enjoyed? I've seen several YT vids on doing that to jumpstart the next season's harvest (apparently peppers are perennial in warmer zones). I wanted to try but my peppers didn't survive the heat wave/drought cycles we had this summer.
Thank you! Yes, I’m planning to overwinter 6 or 7 varieties including a Shishito. Hoping I remember to take care of them this year lol. Sorry to hear yours didn’t make it.
Hi there!!! Thank you for the lovely video!! What type of archway did you use for your loofah? I am trying to plan out my garden for next year! Have a wonderful day!
Hello Asia. We were sitting here wanting to get a few quails too. Also were did you get yours from.. you loofah looks beautiful. Just incase you didn't know with the loofah you can make your own scrubs with them I will be growing some next year to make nice gift baskets. Thank you for the nice video..
Hello 👋🏾 I was able to find fertilized eggs in my area on a Facebook group. They are so cute! Fast little birds but cute. They lay a lot too. Thank you! Yea I did. That actually why I grew the loofah. I think it’s so cute! I still need to peel them and process them. They are still sitting in my laundry room lol. You’re welcome!
@@YellowDoorUrbanHomestead lol.. I feel you.. every which way I try learning and reading everything I get my hands on according to gardening and canning.. That loofah will be great gifts, I can't wait to grow those and gourds.. I'll check on Market place for those quails. Thanks again.

Mustadine! Lawdy, lawdy! We called them Bullets in South Carolina! Anyone else? I didn't even know their real name until like 15 years ago.
Lol I only know because of the tag. They are delicious.

Thank you! I really like growing in bags. Totes are good options too. If something will grow in it I’ll use it lol. Happy growing!
Great garden tour. You still have a lot in your garden. It's amazing how much you can grow in your space. Thanks for sharing.

Have carrot plant from last year trying to get seeds. Not yeah
Awesome! Hopefully soon.

You’re welcome! I used cattle panel with t-post. They are very sturdy and last for a long time. They are worth the money.
