Hey Nathan! Just started my first real job as a marketer! Self taught through people like yourself. I got hired in to do facebook ads mainly and i did so well the boss asked me to turn them off. So, in the mean time I'm rebuilding the entire website. I've had to reacquaint myself with SEO and I'm essentially following your videos step by step! I have a very good opportunity to make a great business an excellent business. I want to ask for secret tips and tricks but you essentially put em all in your video!
Mastering SEO fundamentals is more crucial than diving into advanced tactics. Focus on these essentials: * Match your content with what searchers want. * Use the right keywords. * Keep your URLs clear and simple. Many pages rank poorly because they don't target specific services or locations. Please 🙏 Make sure each page has one primary keyword.
Using the detailed plugin - if meta description is 250 characters instead of less than 155 how important is this? Also I assume it's SUPER important to include the KW in the meta description? Great video btw...Thanks.
It's not a huge factor, but you should try to get the primary keyword in there. The reason why you want it be shorter is because it'll get cut off in the SERPs
Great stuff as always. I particularly like your directions on HYPER focus. In the example of Longo, outside of St Louis yet sourcing most of volume from St Louis, would it make sense to create another page for another closer location? so that each page is focused on a specific location? like the business pulls most from city on West side so I optimize for that, but yet I do not optimize for the other small towns near by. Should I create another page (s) for those? Amy risk of duplication and with what impact? Appreciate your thoughts!
Hey Nathan! Is it worth starting a directory website? For example, focusing on a specific trade like roofers, building relevant pages, and targeting local keywords country by country? Or is it better to just start with individual lead generation sites?
Hey Nathan, How difficult is it to rank in a specific city if your business doesn't have a brick and mortar? Let's say for a plumber, or similar business. Does this even matter?
12:21 - Carter Injury Lawyer Isn't the H1 tag over-optimized or is it okay to use two variants "Personal Injury Lawyer" and "Personal Injury Attorney"? I believe Google is smart enough to deduce both keywords means the same thing. Your thoughts?

so are urls structure important again? i mean it helps including the main keyword of the page in url?

You don't need a physical address to rank. Just select "Service Area" and your address will be hidden.
