I was always talking about how if Liquid bring back Matu 1st and Miracle 2nd they would've won so many more games. After Miracle's 2nd with magic build ember I wasn't really surprised that they bring him back, Miracle played a lot of Lesh in pubs too recently.
It's still so weird how Liquid was so close to dropping the major just from the group stage of the qualifier, to winning against the two top team of the qualifier and winning the playoffs of the qualifier. Like, what the hell happened, or maybe didn't?
Simply put they at bad at BO1 in group stages, but they usually win in BO3 or BO5 format. I don't know much about the game so I wouldn't know why they tend to lose BO1, but my guess would be they like high variant/risk drafts/plays.
