the lessons I learnt from this video. 1.Deprive yourself from the pleasure-seeking activities 2.Have constant pressure that allows you to perform in stressful situations and brings out the best in you 3.Divergent experience: when you single mindedly keep your focus on one task then you everything you do becomes tied to that task. Completely destroy your previous self in order to perform now. 4.Flow state: is when effort becomes effortless. It takes time, effort and motivators to turn on. 5.Monster or killer instinct: it exists regardless of the situation it is the ego that doesn't let you lose to your opponent.
Imperative is survival then... 1. Scarcity = lack of oleasure 2. Competition = pressure 3 and 4. Efficiency = focus and flow state 5. Ruthless = monster and killer instinc.
Well it might make u unhappy but someone else might find this and take it to them selfs like a life changing experience so eh u have ur opinion others have others
There are many analyses out there that say fasting and dopamine detox is not enough to succeed. You have to have drive and that's the whole purpose of the show which this video unfortunately misses. Having a strong enough drive will shift your focus from dopamine addiction to being addicted to your goals. Having focus on your goal wont let you get carried away for long periods of time. Those who have to depend on external forces to improve themselves are accepting to be weak. Real change comes from within.
You can sense your ego . When you start comparing yourself to others . It makes hate them despise them and at the same time forces you to develop and improve. It's extremely painful bit it sures pushes you to you maximum limits .
Craving success is not the same as craving survival. Anyone who has watched Akagi knows that much. Survival forces you to do the bare minimum to survive, whether you become successful or not. But Hunger for success is what drives you forward and allows you to find joy in overcoming your limits. Remember THAT
Wow, this video is exactly what I needed to hear! I've always dreamt of becoming a monster player in Blue Lock, and this video has given me some great tips on self-improvement and developing a killer instinct. I can't wait to pre-order your book and dive deeper into this amazing journey. Thank you for sharing such valuable content!
The monster idea sounds similar to Devilman Crybaby. It's something like brutal honesty, cold discipline, and visceral awareness. Basically sort of like objectivity. Also speaking of humble beginnings, I heard Dostoyevsky primarily started writing books to make money. Looking forward to your book man!
@@Mahadevan__j Yeah but it's a pretty cold anime. I brought it up because it's about monsters. It is a horror genre and not something I would recommend to everybody. I'd recommend it to someone who is heavy into anime already, and also not too bothered by brutality worse than that of berserk anime. It is one of my favorites though. It's got some really funny and wholesome moments as well, but it is ultimately a very sad story.
@@LuxArt1000 okay thanks for that info. But what i was asking is like blue lock does it feature characters or themes of being cold, calculating, ruthlessly efficient and such? I'm interested in that
@@Mahadevan__j Oh yeah, very much of that. The anime doesn't spend too much time inside a character's head and just lets their actions speak for themselves pretty much.
For me I just started playing tennis for 3 years and have put in so many hours. I play for my high school team but we are in one of the best divisions so players have been playing since like 6 and when they don’t try it pisses me off so much
Does your book "Muscular Christianity" deal with traits a believer uses to live a purposeful, fulfilled life, such as assertiveness, courage, grit and perseverance?
@@DrUpauli I havent read or bought any books in years. Your book will probably be read by me. More than likely. Plus, I was taught in Western Christianity to be kind, humble, modest and to turn the other cheek. Will I learn something different in this book?

just so you know, Muslim fasting is not just Ramadan fasting, they also fast every Monday and Thursday, then Julhijah fasting, Arafah fasting, Daud fasting, ayyamul bidh fasting, then, the points is, my suggestion is islam is more better as example.
aslam alaykum brother i just want to say u look at everything at a different meaning and different perspective i know youre a Christian but why not look at islam and see why people believe and read the holy book with some meaning to understand the perspective of muslims i wish you the best in life
i find it strange how you chose christians as example of people who fast when in fact Muslims are the best example here , we literally fast 30 days a year and everyone does it because it is one of pillars of islam
Lent is literally 40 days lol. Also I wrote a book on Christianity, ofc I would talk about Christianity when I can to make the transition more seemless
@DrUpauli i can respect that, but the number of people doing fasting in islam is faaaaaaaaaaaaar more than people doing lent consistently Anyway my point is u could have mentioned islam but did not . Thats all
for God next time dont put jesus bro it is really irritating for some people because they all believe in different gods and some believe in one God Allah so please
It's only irritating to the people who are irrational and take anything that has to do with religion to are higher level of irrationality he never said you must believe in Christianity you can still take advice and switch that to ur beliefs coz everything you jus said was irrational asf 😧 no one said you gotta be christian my guy aight and with that I'm signing off peace ✌

This angle of the show is really what made me love it (as a former college waterpolo player) im so glad others see it that way
