    Would love to see a more in-depth video on queens gambit. And if I may request a video on the London System that would be great too.

    A video idea: QGD middlegame plans for white? I develop, get a nice looking position visually and then have no idea what to do. That's why I play the English - Botvinnik system instead, it's much more straight forward for me. I would love to understand QG though.

    If black puts his bishop in front of his queen is good for black right?

    Ok I seen enough. I’m gonna need to spend some time on this channel. No need for a 35 min on an opening for beginners like most do. Simple concepts and straight to the point are far better.

    Do you recommend e3 or e4 if they accept the gambit? E3 blocks in the bishop?

    i know how to defend the rook at 2:13 you take bishop e6 and when queen takes you play bishop d5 and free queen

      Qf3 Be6 Qxa8 Bd5 doesn't work, because white just plays Qxa7, then looks to follow up with Nc3, forking the bishop and the pawn on b5.
      After Qxa7, there's no follow up attack on the queen - Yes, Nc6 forces the queen to retreat back down the a-file (or to c5) while black develops their knight, but white can just move the queen to safety and play Nc3, or play Qa8 and force a queen trade (since the knight blocks the bishop). e6 and Nf6 defend the bishop on d5 while developing, but there's not any way to trap the queen with such little undeveloped material, and after white plays Nc3 you're going to just end up playing Bb4 and trading pieces when you're down a rook already.
      The best thing to do though is Nc6, then after Qxc6, Bd7 to block the check, which only loses the knight (since a8 is defended by your queen now, and there's no Qxa7 afterwards either; the bishop also defends the b5 pawn). Stockfish says this is +3.3 for white.
      For comparison, the first few moves of the best lines according to Stockfish after your line and Qxa7 are:
      3rd best line - 1. Nf6 2. Nc3 e6 3. Nxd5 exd5.
      This is probably what you'd see - get the queen to move away, let them play Nc3, then defend your bishop. The whole idea of Bd5 was to attack the queen, so black is probably going to keep doing that; it's the most obvious move in the situation, even though it's not the best move according to Stockfish.
      Best line - 1. e6 2. Nc3 Bb4 3. Bd2 Bxc3 4. Bxc3 (allow the bishop out, Nc3 happens, pin the knight so that it can't capture, white unpins the knight with the bishop, then trade the knight for the bishop).
      2nd best line - 1. e5 2. dxe5 Nc6 3. Qa6 Qb8, then repeat the ideas from the best line to trade after Nc3 (4. Nc3 etc.) - Essentially you give up the pawn in the centre to allow you to defend the pawn on b5 with your queen, and avoid any shenanigans with the rook on the open a-file.
      These are all around +7 or +8 for white.

    At 1.01 what if h2 and G2 pawn pushes?

    • @ChessVibesOfficial
      @ChessVibesOfficial  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think you mean h7 to h6 to attack the bishop? If so, white could capture the knight because if black recaptures with the queen he'll lose a pawn after cxd5, exd5, Nxd5. So black would have to recapture with his pawn and end up weakening his kingside.

    • @danielyuan9862
      @danielyuan9862 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't know which time you're talking about, but d4 is unavailable for white and is defended at all times, so playing that as black would blunder the queen
