I came across Kevs channel due to him raising awareness of the homeless situation in Liverpool. I’m only interested in football when the World Cup comes around. But I’ve found on his Channel a new found love of the game, I remember the tragedy unfold on my Tv and the tears I wept even though I’m halfway across the country. I’ve never been a fan of any particular team but I now support Liverpool with all my heart and soul. This video gave me so much more information than I ever knew. Thank you Kev for all you do, from the homeless project, showing us around historic landmarks of your city and for your videos of the football club. You deserve so many more subscribers than you have at the moment. But one thing you have implanted throughout is this one saying that Liverpool should be credited with.
“You’ll never walk alone” I hope one day I’ll be able to visit even though I’m well beyond my years, one day I may get to cross the mersy on the ferry. God bless the good people of Liverpool.
Thank you for the really kind words, and I’m glad you’re now a red. If you ever come to Liverpool, please let me know
What a really heartfelt reply, every city has its ups and downs , this city in particular was singled out by numerous governments and hierarchy to be ground into dust , the press are still trying to do it today along with the herd mentality of people who read and believe the lies they tell about us , if you ever come here and I hope you do , this is by far the best , happiest , funniest , wisest and most welcoming city in the country , we keep soldiering on in the face of sometimes blatant hatred fri vast amounts of so called other English people , we are scouse and we are proud , ynwa
As someone who worked in the construction industry for over 25 years, I can safely say it’s not complete until the final snagging is done. This can take quite while on projects this size, and considering the checkered history of this construction if I were one of the team tasked with the final snagging, I’d be all over it with fine tooth comb. Just from watching your fine videos I can see that list being a long one, but when that’s signed off I’m sure everyone will breathe a huge sigh of relief. 👍
Thanks mate, I was more on about the noticeable stuff
when the hoardings come down & all the seats are on sale
À lot of it looks like more than snagging, it looks like shoddy workmanship, there's no excuse for the original state of the Forever Stones for example x
Belter Kev 👏🏼 Top tour guide too. Every day is a school day cos I learnt something new from your video. Keep up the good work it’s greatly appreciated
I learn something new every time I do the tour
Excellent video and I think your tour guide was a lovely man, very knowledgeable and obviously filled with passion for the team.
Yeah Paul was great
Well done to Paul & Kev as tour guides representing the club in great way with their knowledge.
They were excellent
Sacred Anfield ❤
Those rope lads earn their money doing that job. Thanks for the update from inside starting to better every time we see it x
I knew I was right when decieding to go with just you as my "delivery boy" of the Annie Rd. rebuild. Fabulous work and the diversity now on this channel along withyour careful way of presenting new topics has added to your appeal. Thanks for your enthusiasm and time spent for our entertainment, enlightment and education.
Excellent video and one i'll always be glad to watch again and again. Well edited and entertaining. What a team and place to be associated with!
Have been fortunate to stand/sit on the Kop, just as Paul said we should, and I still have me Granny, or at least would do if she still lived.
Only stand I dont know as a spectator is the SKD, but have seen the view out from there through your camera lens. Good job Kev, thanks.
Well done mate, it's nice you and the other guys keeping us up to date.
Thank you Denzel
Amazing video Kev, really enjoyed it , thought the tour guide was superb, thanks for the update 👌

It shouldn’t take too long now
That is a fantastic video. I was there on the tour 18 months orr so ago & it has changed a bit. Some stuff the guide was talking about I didn't know. Some great footage of the ongoing work (there is definitely a lot still to do) to the Anfield Road stand. Thank you or you great footage. What a Tour Guide! 👏🏻 You don't even need to be a fan to understand what Liverpool and its Football Club means to the people. Fantastic video this
Great video Kev, well done. You are obviously more at ease with the camera and commentary now and it shows ! Delighted you survived the "copyright" challenge, brilliant. Keep the videos coming mate, you are guaranteed success. You are what Liverpool as a city is all about. Caring and sharing even with our rivals at Goodison Park. We are all in this together come rain or shine.
Ah loved that mate. Love that guys passion too. Great vid again Kev, cheers mate.
He was very enthusiastic
Top video mate. I can relate to what Paul says about standing on the Kop I used to do it in the 70s and he is right about climbing the steps from the turnstiles to the first glimpse of the green pitch with the hairs standing up and thinking I am actually here to see the mighty reds!
Great video Kev. I did the tour the day before the City game. Really enjoyed it. Great to see the outside cladding and corner section almost completed now. Keep up the great work

Nice one mate
Nice one mate
Hi Kev,
My wife and I have religiously watched and very much enjoyed all your videos of the LFC Anfield Road expansion.
We are going to see Taylor Swift in June and would love it if you could cover the conversion from football ground to stadium concert venue? Hope you can fit this in 🤞. Best wishes, Jaclyn and Steve.
I can certainly do that for you both, it’s actually a really good idea
Thank you so much. We are looking forward to it 👍
Great video Kev
Thank you Timothy
Fabulous
Cheers Allan
I LOVE doing the Anfield tour. I’m pretty sure I’ve had Paul as the tour guide once or twice before. I haven’t been there since July 2021 so I’m long overdue a visit. I’m so proud to be a fan of Liverpool Football Club. ❤
Yes i did they had few food donations so we had a chat they needed sugar coffee and long life milk you know they use abagof sugar and ajaf of coffee and 6 cartons of milk a day so went to tesco got em a weeks supply and biscuits and cakes and fresh fruit they wre so nice Brian not there 1st time in weeks shame i did not meet him the lads in there were so nice .told them seen it on kc image works vids Denny did well £150. I enjoyed the tour i dont do much footy although i went to new camp in barcelona only cause my hubby said we have a full day shopping so i went it was ok went to galaxzy ithink LA only to get my friend a tee shirt and hoodie .Thats my footy but the ground looks ok .Glad i went to big life . will go again. hope you and Denny are proud of yourselves spreading the word works thanks
You’re amazing Joan, Brian is full of flu today, he gave himself a day off. I’ll meet up with you next time you’re in Liverpool
Kev, I know what they’re doing in the corner. The reason why if you look closer that they use wooden boards is because they’re making a mould so they can pour cement into them areas To finish off that corner area where the seats gonna go that’s why there’s no more concrete slabs left because they’re gonna make it on site
That makes sense mate, I just have zero construction knowledge
great video
Thank you
Great tour of Anfield, I will visit this summer and do the tour. am I correct in thinking the Kop hold the most supporters at Anfield?. looks very small compared to the magnificent Main stand.Thank you for filming Kevin.
The main stand holds almost twice as many as the Kop
Quick question.. has the spot where Jurgen put the spade in the ground been commemorated or marked? Great vid yet again have been following you since the remodelling work began, always a good watch. Thank You.
Thanks mate, no not that I’m aware of. It really should be now he’s leaving
Boss that Kev, really enjoyed that and learnt a few things I didn't know and I thought I knew a lot about our club. Just goes to show u don't know what I think u know! Was that the new scoreboard I saw on the end of the Kop/Main stand? Can't say I've noticed that before! 👍
That’s been there a couple of years mate
I must of seen it a few times but it's not computed with me! Yes I'm an idiot! 🤣🤣
They should have some sort of launching ceremony when the final piece of that corner cladding goes in, lol 😂
Hi Kev, born at home in Anfield , just a few minutes walk from the ground (Hunt Street) , grew up in Waterloo until 22 but now live in Devon, are you allowed to do a flyover on Sefton park? , I remember old nicks cave and many other features, just wondering how the whole area would look like from above. Have enjoyed your channel for a few years now, love your dedication to the homeless as well mate.
Thank you mate, yeah I could do that at some point
Ynwa kev nice video❤❤❤
Cheers Henry
Are they still planning on putting the side windows into the stand as per the plans? (inside the stadium not the outside)
Anfield looks amazing.. Please sort the colouring out on the seats LFC.
YNWA
Good vid mate. The new stand is great but I'm afraid it just makes the SKD stand look small and very out of sync. I wonder how long before they start to redevelop that?
You’re right, it does need doing
How long does the tour last ?
🎉🎉
I saw a video where the guide points out Goodison Park Stadium all across Stanley Park from a window.
He asks the crowd if anyone knows how far away Everton football club is to Anfield? His answer in the video was 14 league positions.
O meu grande sonho é um dia poder conhecer este grande clube que amo à muitos anos. 💙🇵🇹
As my guides said, our Screen is a proper board, the oppositions is just a TV, so they can watch Corrie or Eastenders.
Exactly that
I’m from Hartlepool and would love the opportunity to look round Anfield with the tour one day hopefully soon. Can anyone tell me the price for this please
Kev,, the story of The Spion Kop ,, as i have read it is , The Liverpool Kings Regiment took the hill at Ladysmith, no disrespect to Pual whats so ever he does a great job , ya can feel the love he has for the club ,, maybe the Lancs Fussilers changed there name ( i dont know) can a rergiment change names (no idear) but i think i'll will do some research in to it,
It was the Lancashire regiment before they were the kings
@@Kevcupo "dates back to 1900, the second world war...." Did I really hear that?
Too many “ums” but on the whole you’re doing a great job. 7/10.
Yeah I’m not a professional
Bit of a snub to Roy Evans in the managers corridor ?
Yeah I don’t think you can put him in to the legendary status, but a massive influence in the back room nonetheless
Another great video kev I think they have run out of terising and by the look of it they are making it out of wood in the corner
😂 been told they’re prepping for a concrete pour
As ever I enjoyed your tour video and Paul did a great job, but as an ald fart who loves the history of our Club there were a few error in Pauls 😢narrative. One thing that always irritates me is when, like Paul, people say we were a mid table 2nd Division Club. We finished 11th in season 1954/55 finishing in the top 4 every other year after that. It took the vision of TV Williams and the genius of Mr Shankly to drag us over the line in 1962.
And Paul got his Boer and WW2 mixed up. Many historians will say the "Kop" got its name in 1906 when the ground was redeveloped, by Archibald Leitch, after our 2nd 1st Division championship win. The Liverpool Echo sports writer Ernest Edwards is credited with suggesting the name "Spion Kop". Though it may also be true that the name was more formaly adopted in1928 when the roof was added. And for completeness it was also said before the 1906 development the Walton Breck End was a cinder mound!
And as stated previously the British troops did take the Spion Kop Hill. But due to poor leadership they conceded defeat from the jaws of victory!
This is not a criticism of Paul just the ramblings of an old fart who lover the history of our Club.
PS. I also believe that it will be a sad day when our neighbours move from across thd Park. Maybe a discussion for another day.
That’s some really good knowledge Peter, yeah he definitely got his wars mixed up. When something is in your head it ends up coming out of your mouth. Just like when I said Phil Thompson when I meant Phil Neal. You’re completely in your right to pick up on inaccuracies.
ya just been looking into it,,think you could be right Kev on the name,, been changed a few times,,,
Cheers Tom, I’m ex military. They’re no longer the kings anymore
Sir kenny dalglish stand needs a bigger and better concourse and fan zone and the kop needs an expansion (reflecting annie rd stand) and, in my opinion, work on the sizes of the pitch to host international matches. With that details, anfield would be better even old trashfford and emptyhad stadium.
Be nice if we can get further expansions
Thanks for the upload Mate
No worries Ian, thank you
Kev what bout the work inside the anfield Road stand where the kiosks are I've heard there s a lot of empty spaces.
In what way mate?
Just the bit where the extended stand is maybe take a look if you get inside there soon
is there a couple rows at the end of lower ARE still unfinished? the gap (currently red boards) is massive compared to the pictures - can someone clarify?
Not that I know of mate, might be a bit of a balcony maybe
Kev if that’s the case then we only have the tiny corner infill of seats … so nowware 61000 plus capacity … not bein picky I’m a massive red from the 70s mate …but it seems to be about a 1000 or so short 😮
@@Kevcupo When that red painted temporary partitioning is removed there will be two additional rows of seating and 20 additional wheel chair bays behind it which are currently being installed. The partition won't be removed until that work is completed.
@@user-dl9dg2pr7t 152 additional seats in the corner at the main stand end and circa 500 additional seats behind that temporary red partitioning.
Sounness won the FA cup as manager, a bit harsh to leave him off that wall.
34.10 "get here early, half an hour before"
I remember mid 80's, uf you weren't in by 1pm, you wasn't getting in the Kop 😂
what about the sign ?
12:45 tough crowd 😂
Yeah I felt for him on that one, just glad someone said something
What did you learn new this tour Kev?
That the players get four kits each every match
Do you not think it is strange that the seats at each end of the Main Stand and the SKD are not facing the pitch, but are several rows back? It seems that the stadium has no proper development plan, which is a shame for a club of Liverpool's status. By the way, I hope you win the League.
I’m hoping that is temporary until the KDS gets expanded. Thank you mate
@@Kevcupo That doesn't solve the Main/Anfield corner though. All the best.
8:15 i don't understand why not they add on a big screen here since there is a empty space here.
I think the tour guide’s humour was lost on some of the punters!
It was mate, wrong crowd I think
