- This is a complete run of the Vigilante Mission for Grand Theft Auto: San Andres.
NO CHEATS and no mods were used.
This is a completely legitimate game.
PC Version 1.0
I reached Level 13 and passed the mission.
Technically speaking, it's impossible to ever "Pass" the Vigilante Mission... one of only four things can happen:
1) You run out of time and "Fail" the mission.
2) You stop the mission yourself.
3) You get Wasted or Busted.
4) You leave your Law-Enforcement vehicle for more than 60 seconds.
You'll never see the message "MISSION PASSED" ever.
As long as you've completed Level 12, then you've passed the Vigilante Mission regardless of what messages pop up on the screen.
I used the exact same HPV1000 Motorcycle for the entire mission.
For every level increase of the Vigilante Mission (including Brown Thunder) your vehicle becomes "hardened" and less prone to damage than the previous level, so it can withstand a great deal of punishment.
Every level increase also "refreshes" the vehicle by taking away most of the damage that was incurred from the previous level, making it a little stronger.

Here are the details:
I went ahead and started a brand new game, so Carl had no weapons, no skills, he has nothing I immediately found a cop on a HPV-1000; I hi-jacked it and started the Vigilante Mission I was able to reach and complete Level 13.
This was done at the very beginning of the game immediately after the opening cut-scene where Tenpenny and Pulaski throw C.J. in the alley in Jefferson, Los Santos.
He has nothing... no weapon skills at all; his skills improved as the mission progressed.
The highest I've ever gotten using the exact same Police Car is Level 82.
The highest I've ever gotten using the Hunter is Level 366 img525.imageshack.us/img525/54...

That was hard when you started with no weapons and Boby Armor.
I think you can change your weapon to melee weapon when you're facing the police
(like 8:49)You keep the distance with police so they can't catch you.
This action can decrease the damge from police.

Tip: You can find a Rhino at Area 69 after purchasing the Verdant Meadows safehouse, that will make the Vigilante mission easier. But remember when you get in Area 69 you get a 5 star wanted level, so take the tank to the nearest safehouse.
What does doing the vigilante missions get you? More armor?
I have a question.If you got all the territories that you can have,other gangs still attack your territories or not?
Can you advise what I can do if my bike's tires got shot? Or there's nothing I can do and I shouldn't let it happen in the first place?

I knew just from watching the vid that this was at the very beginning of the storyline, you only had like $1,400 to start plus I seen a bunch of "Ballas" running around. I don't think I could ever get that far in "vigilante" with just a motorcycle.
I remember playing this grant theft. which had an error on my ps2. But now I am playing gta 4 for the xbox 360. great game.

Despite being how anti-cheats you are, have you ever used them to play around? Like, say, the flying cars cheat, just for fun?

The fastest way to obtain Rhino is to complete "Yay Ka-Boom-Boom" mission, drive to Easter Basin Naval Station (you will get 5-star wanted level), defend yourself in good place (nice spot is Xoomer gas station near it) to get 6-star wanted level, steal Rhino and make your way to Doherty. After you will take control of tank, leave it and take police bribe which is on rail tracks just behind said Xoomer gas station - it will help you very much since other tanks won't chase you.
I like to do this with the Sea Sparrow, not too OP, but still hard to aim and its gun isn't very powerful.
just a question: do you ever think anyone will find out how to get the FBI truck without cheats or mods, or is it Impossible? I mean it wasnt long ago the two-timing date was discovered and not many knows that the SWAT truck comes with different appearances (numbers) and that you can get 175 gang territories legitimatly (but broken :/) in the original SA release. So.. what do you think?

since 2006?? Well i must`ve been sleeping under a rock or somthing. I´ll check up the OrionSR forum later, since im very eager to get the BP/EP/FP/DP Police rancher and the Monster. However it seems that i`ll have to start a new game, and all the work to get "King of san andreas" in my 2008 save, for nothing. Well time to get to work :) Thanks for replying btw :)

Are you saying that you genuinely believe that you're the ONLY one in the world capable of passing vigilante missions from start of the game?
I think it's possible that you're the only one(or the first one) who THOUGHT of doing that, but definitely not the only person CAPABLE of doing that.
Besides, doing the mission from start isn't that different. You picked up an SMG after the first kill, I was still in Los Santos and had only Uzi and a 9mm when I did the mission.

My plan is: Wait to get the Verdant Meadows graveyard, get a bike, drive 'round are 69 (avoid 5 stars), get in there, quickly, steal the tank, and get to Toreno's ranch, save it, and then drive your tank to the garage at Verdant Meadows, you got a tank forever.
In san andreas for android graphicks is so less now days.a good game brings back some memorys

Best is take a Hunter from KACC military fuels taking the Shamal (beginning too, theres a trick to enter the airport) steal the Hunter, avoid the 5 stars police to your safehouse, land the helicopter in front of the safehouse and save the game to take 5 stars off DON'T LOAD THE GAME OR THE HELICOPTER WILL DISSAPEAR.
Now you have a Hunter to Vigilante missions from the very beginning, be careful to not destroy the heli because you have only one.

i guess i`ll have to give up the FBI truck then, i`ve been dreaming to control one since i saw a picture of it in the shitty Brady games guide book , and im no fan of cheat devices either. Regarding the SWAT truck (FP/BP) in "The end of the line" it comes with the numbers "1" , "3" , "6" , "7" , "9" and none on the side, if im not mistaken. A very small difference, yes, but for completionists (like me :)) its 6 of em in my garages..

you got mad skills, no question about that :) , well too bad your game crashed at lv. 366 if you did the vigilante in the Hunter. Because at around lv. 394 i quitted my vigilante because the $ ticked in at 999.999.999.. it combines fun and effiency concerning earning money. IMO the betting machines is just boring, but thats just me :)

there is an easier way: steal tank from area 69, drive qiuckly to the hangar at desert airport and park it in there, run to control tower and save game. All cops and stars will be gone and you can use tank to pass vigilante missions, and all that without cheating :)

Hunter > Rhino for Vigilante missions. Hunter is a lot faster and easier :D but I like to challenge sometimes using ordinary police cars or bike, but I always get knocked off flying the bike!
