Too Much Tech I love ur videos but u for real silly... the razer huntsman tkl are overall faster...they have a less total distance and pbt keycaps etc but it is good

Too Much Tech 110% the apex is way better built and has fast switches for users who don’t bottom out but the razer te tkl is faster for gamers who bottom out switches (almost everyone) and it has better keycaps and a removable type c cable and has a safer look to fit in more people’s set up if the steel series keyboard had doubleshot pbt keycaps and a removable type c cable it would be amazing
Anyone here purchased it? I'm feeling that the actuation point on my Razer TE is so high and sensitive i'm looking for something a little better.
Just got this keyboard today👌 love the actuation tuning settings on this thing, feels like my fingers are moving like the flash.
I switched to PC a couple months ago from console. I didn't know what to get so I got this keyboard. I can't imagine a better one and it's helped me so much with learning how to play M&K.

shunkamunka I haven’t tried that Alienware keyboard but I’ve had a couple low profile keyboards and they are okay! I don’t love or prefer them but they aren’t necessarily bad, I just like standard sized keys

This is not a tongue in cheek comment. I’m looking for a keyboard like this, but, the only thing I can see with reaction times is with your mouse. So I can lean. Go prown, crouch, dash, etc. How can this improve my gameplay above lightening trigger on my mouse? I don’t care about lighting as as I’m playing, I don’t tend to look at my keyboard. i bought it during the beginning of quarentine when i didnt know much about keyboards, sent it back and bought a anne pro 2 with blue switches and then it broke. so i decided to buy the apex pro again

When u say the main keys are the Omni point switches does that also include the alt control and shift keys?
I got the full tk version, and its my first gaming keyboard. I have nothing to compare it to, but man is it good. I am, however, returning it for the TKL version because I keep hitting my keyboard when playing. Thanks for the review

I got this keyboard 8 months ago. I was convinced by other creators to buy this, but I have gotten some issues with it. the RGB just gave up on some keys for no reason because i barely touched those keys when i use it. It also occasionally just spams keys without any trigger. Maybe i have a faulty one but do your research. i would opt for a wooting keyboard if i had known this
I have this keyboard and is awsome. I wish Steelseries could had Omnipoint Switches at arrow keys aswell. Thoses red are so loud compare to Omni ones.

I have this right now, really hate that not all the switches are the same, especially for the money - and because I'm worried that those lesser switches will "chatter" down the road.
They do, I've had it for less than a week and it's already pinging loudly. The stabilisers are also really rattly.
You can prevent most programs from auto-startup by Task Manager > Startup (Tab) and enable/disable most things from there
If you open up a razor program the logo comes up which is annoying and even if you have the start up disabled it still runs which is hella annoying

I'd rather have the board that way because the omnipoint is a hall effect switch that relies on magnet, isn't actually milisecond-accurate as mech switches and I have yet to try qx2 red switches that prolly feels like gateron yellow, so yeah I just prefer other keys with qx2 mechanical switches like that. could've had the option for qx2 blue though, or maybe for all the numpad, reds on the other and omnis on main keys, in that case I've got all that I need, lol. I haven't ever found a force curve graph for qx2 blue (like in Steelseries Apex 7) but I'll assume it's like gateron blue (but I still prefer Cherry MX Blue over it), prolly better than Kailh qs1 blue though and should be much better than 2013 Razer Blackwidow board's Kailh Green.
also to remind me that omnipoint is really the smoothest light linear switch on modern kb, if ever I'll get used to the light fully-linear bottom-out force and cause my hand to be 'lazy', the qx2 switches can remind me that right off the bat, lol.
and in reality, each hall-effect switches have different value (amount of magnet perhaps) and the production company calibrated each key in the board's software to make it so you can adjust and every key is 'relatively' equal on how far you bottom-out. still not sure if it's always 100% accurate on bottoming-out, accurate like any other optical switch that just works on/off like all kb. I swear these hall effect and the wooting one flaretech (perhaps also Aorus K9 flaretech) are even less accurate than membrane (can't really be noticeable on fps games but on rhythm games, in fact in fps games you'll need faster reaction and mouse precision more than precise movement, and building in fortnite requires only relative fast reflexes, in that game that is timing and how fast you jump and dodge projectiles, you'll need reaction and subsequent fast-paced character movement, not fast-slow-fast precise measured-timing).

great video, but btw u can disable razer synapse from popping up on start, it annoyed me at first but u can simply change it in the windows settings
But if Synapse doesnt start on start up, your effects won't play on the peripherals, until you open Synapse... so when you have Razer products, it just needs to launch and then you just close the window, not that difficult to click 'X' on a window when my mouse is in my hand anyway.

I was yes, upgraded to the A7S III recently, and the tamaron 28-75 is my main lens, extremely versatile

Really want this keeb but the price makes me stay away here where i live its soo much more then in the us but abs keycaps in 2020 and the price tag for it makes me question steelseries.
The price does seem a bit high but with how noticable the difference actually is i think its justifiable. With most keyboards that low actuation time is just a marketing trick but with this keyboard you instantly feel that difference. Its insane.

Steel series has prism white and black pbt double shot key caps. Rgb shines better and all our feels better 2 for 39 Canadian not sure about American I’m assuming 20 bucks.

Probably. Why wouldnt you be able to? You can change the bindings, the only problem that you might have is the caps being different sizes due to being further up the board.

The apex pro only comes with omnipoint for the main switches and red for the secondary switches. You can get the apex 7 which has blue red and brown switches through the whole keyboard and it’s cheaper

@Protix, It Registers faster so you don’t have to press the key as much. So if you want quick gaming you can set it with high registering. And typing with no mistakes you can use deep registering. Hope that makes since and helps
