I was always more of a Fatima person, but Our Lady of Guadalupe specifically kept appearing to me when I was in prison. She’d keep popping up in images on the TV, on cards that I’d receive in the mail, and she still keeps appearing to me. I wasn’t supposed to get out for a while, but because of her intercession I miraculously got released early so I could be with my family. The lesson is that Our Lady and Jesus love even the lowliest of us, even those in prison, and that NOTHING can hold us back from the love of Christ! +JMJ+

My dad gave me a miraculous medal when I was 14 in July 1977 in August 1977. I picked up the rosary and started to pray it changed my life. I later learned about Fatima, our lady of Guadalupe and our lady of Lourdes in France, as well as learning more about our lady of the miraculous metal and her appearance to Saint Catherine. So God sent his mother to earth to tell us he loves us, and to remind us that he has given us his mother to be our mother to have the highest Saint in heaven to pray for us, and with us . When you study all the apparitions together, it gives us such a clear picture of the love of God and the gift of Mary.

When you read the bible you find that mary is named in 20 verses and that she is the most blessed woman of all time and that she is the mother of her firstborn son Jesus . What you do not find in the bible is what the roman Catholic church has brought in to proclaim Mary to be much more than what the bible says about her. The fact that these apparitions claim that they are Mary and yet take on the role that only Jesus is worthy of is clear evidence of a false belief being accepted.

@@brucewmclaughlin9072 in John 19, and in revelation 12 verse 17, it shows that Mary is our spiritual mother, which means we honor her as Jesus who kept the commitment to honor your father and mother also honored her. The Catholic Church has never taught that Mary is our savior that Mary died on the cross. We have never taught that Mary replaces Jesus. Mary is given to us by God the father to be our spiritual mother to help us get closer to Jesus that has been my experience since I was 14 and started praying the rosary I have never imagined, and I have never felt in any way that I will being brought to love Mary above Jesus I have never seen it in church teaching. I have never felt it in my heart. I have no idea why people keep making these claims. Mary is the new Eve ,Mary is the arc of the new covenant, Mary is the queen mother Jesus worked his first miracle through her intercession, in John chapter 2 she has a unique role given to her by God at the side of Jesus to help us get to heaven. In genesis chapter 3, we see God saying he's going to make the woman and the serpent enemies, we see in revelation 12 the identity of the serpent is finally revealed as the devil himself, and in verse 17 that she escapes from the dragon, and now the dragon makes war against the rest of her children, those who keep the commandments of God and get a witness to Jesus . I think people need to be aware that the serpent works hard to confuse people about the role of Mary so that we don't get the help of her prayers as God intended through the rosary.

      @brucewmclaughlin9072 ปีที่แล้ว

@@fatherburke9011 25 Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother, his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. 26 When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to her, “Woman,[b] here is your son,” 27 and to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.
And somehow you interpret this as Jesus giving His mother to the world? That is a good roman pagan belief to have . As for rev 12 There is no queen of heaven and the interpretation from the roman church is not correct. taking verses out of context is far easier to present an argument for Mary .!
Revelation 12 The first great sign is a vision of a woman who gave birth to a child (verse 1).
Then in verse 3 we read, “And another sign appeared in heaven.” We thus understand that these three symbols-a woman, a child and a dragon-represent things beyond the ordinary events of nature. These three figures symbolize three major spiritual forces that have been at work for several thousand years.
What do the woman, the Child and the dragon represent?
Who is the woman in Revelation 12?
The woman of the Apocalypse-described as being “clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars” (verse 1)-represents Old Testament Israel. In the Old Testament, God referred to His people as a woman whom He had dressed in honor and splendor (Ezekiel 16). The garland with 12 stars may be symbolic of the 12 tribes of Israel (Genesis 37:9-10).
Throughout Revelation 12 we note that the “woman” is repeatedly protected by God (verses 6, 14-16), especially as the time approaches for the “kingdom of our God” to be established on earth (verse 10).
In the New Testament, God’s Church is symbolized as a woman; and its members are likened to virgins (Matthew 25:1-13; Revelation 14:4; Revelation 19:7). The New Testament Church is called “the Israel of God” (Galatians 6:16) and likened to “Jerusalem above,” which is called “the mother of us all” (Galatians 4:26, also see Hebrews 12:22-23). Members of the Church are described as “a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His [God’s] own special people” (1 Peter 2:9).
When Christ returns to earth, He is going to marry the Church, which is called “His wife” in Revelation 19:7. Based on these passages, it is clear that the woman in Revelation 12 represents God’s people.
Note that the imagery of a dishonorable woman-one called “the great harlot”-is used in Revelation 17:1 to depict a false church that deceives many.
The woman (God’s chosen nation of Israel) is described as giving birth to a “male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron” (Revelation 12:5). Indeed, Jesus Christ was born into this nation. The verse continues, “And her Child was caught up to God and His throne.” The language here makes it clear that Jesus is the “Child” in Revelation 12.
Jesus is the One who is prophesied to “strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron” (Revelation 19:15). He is also the One who, after His resurrection, was taken up in a cloud to heaven (Acts 1:9-11).
      Who is the dragon?
The third symbol of Revelation 12-“a great, fiery red dragon” (verse 3)-is described as having drawn “a third of the stars of heaven” and standing “before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born” (verse 4). A few verses later, this dragon is clearly identified as Satan: “So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world” (verse 9).
As for the dragon drawing “a third of the stars of heaven,” this reference apparently represents Satan leading a third of the angels in a rebellion against God. Other passages show stars represent angels (Revelation 1:20).
The Bible also explains that Satan had been involved in a rebellion against God in which he attempted to exalt his “throne above the stars of God” and “be like the Most High” (Isaiah 14:13-14). Satan then began his work as “that serpent of old [the one who tempted Eve in the Garden of Eden], called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world” (Revelation 12:9,
If God has “ministers of righteousness,” Satan also has his servants-physical ministers (themselves deceived and helping deceive others) and spirit beings who pass themselves off as righteous but incite human beings to sin (2 Corinthians 11:15; Ephesians 6:12). Jude further describes the fallen angels or demons as “angels who did not keep their proper domain” and who are now “reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day” (Jude 1:6).

Well, then, is the child a symbol no Jesus is real, so is Saint Michael the Archangel and so is Satan so the four major characters are all real people. Why would you single one out and make the woman's clothed the sun a symbol? I noticed that the phrasing used in genesis three John 19 and revelation, 12 or speaks of the woman because Mary is the new woman. She is the new eve. I realized that the protestants can't stand that but it's unfortunate because they lose out on the help that they could receive by the prayers of Mary. It's a very sad thing for them.

When you look to the scriptures as the complete word of God you do not find Mary being more than what the scriptures' tell us. She is alive in the heavenly realm with Jesus but according to scripture no one in the heavenly realm with Jesus communicates with those alive on earth.
CCC 2679 tells us we can pray to Mary and yet the entire bible all 73 books do not ever point to prayer to anyone but God .
Intercession is done by Jesus not Mary according to scripture. When you go outside of scripture you can start believing all sorts of false doctrines as if they are true. They sound close to, but are still wrong. Revelation is a book of symbols not yet done but will soon be fact. Mary . satan , archagels are real but the book of revelation is symbolic , so where you see the woman with a crown of stars and yes we all want it to be Mary to honor her , and then we see
Rev 12:13 When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. 14 The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach. 15 Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent. 16 But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. 17 Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring-those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.
do you see this as literal or symbolic?
The woman appears to be symbolic based on context and appears to be Mary when you wish to honor her and cherry pick a verse.

@@danielguitron You are confusing “praying” with “worshiping” in regards to Mary. When Catholic’s “pray to” Mary, they are asking for her intercession, not worshiping her. Just like if someone asked you to pray for them, you would be interceding on their behalf to God.
      Intercessory prayer:
The meaning of “pray to” is to request, ask, petition, or appeal for something and not necessarily to worship. When we "pray to" Mary, we do not worship her as she is not God.
Here are examples of intercessory prayer:
2 Thessalonians 1:11 “With this in mind, we constantly pray for you”
Hebrews 13:18-19 “Pray for us. …I particularly urge you to pray so that I may be restored to you soon.”
Romans 15:30 “I urge you, brothers and sisters,… to join me in my struggle by praying to God for me.”
Ephesians 6:18 “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests….always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”
Colossians 4:3 “And pray for us, too”
Numbers 21:7-8 "Then the people came to Moses and said, “We have sinned by speaking against the LORD and against you. Intercede with the LORD so He will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses interceded for the people. "
Also, 2 Maccabees 15:12-16 (deceased Onias and Jeremiah interceded for the Jews.)
“…Onias who had been high priest … holding up his hands, prayed for all the people of the Jews:
After this there appeared also another man, …this is he that prayeth much for the people, and for all the holy city, Jeremias the prophet of God.”
Mary is not “asleep”, just as Moses and Samuel, both of whom had physically died, are alive in spirit:
Jeremiah 15:1 "Then the Lord said to me: “Even if Moses and Samuel were to stand before me, my heart would not go out to this people. Send them away from my presence! Let them go!”
Here is Moses and Elijah speaking with Jesus, even though they had died bodily:
Matthew 17:2-3 "There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus."
So it works like this, Paul -> asks people -> they pray to God. People -> ask Mary -> she prays to God. In both these instances, as well as Onias, Jeremiah, Moses and Samuel, all prayed to God as intercessors for others. God alone is the one to whom all these people are praying to. If intercessory prayer was prohibited, then Paul should not have asked anyone to pray for him, and also, the people, when asked by Paul for their prayers, should have responded to him to pray for himself, no need for them to pray / intercede for him.

@@Adrian-mj8is having an image and a piece of cloth does not prove anything in regards to the roman Catholic church! What is the gospel that is supposed to be disseminated throughout the world ? The gospel is the good news of having direct access to our loving God and no longer under a set of rules we could never keep. Compare what the apparition of Guadalupe says with what is said about Jesus in the scriptures.
When we analyze the words of Guadalupe and Fatima these two apparitions have unbiblical and idolatrous statements. The Guadalupe apparitions tell people that those who love Mary and seek her, trust in her, etc., will be healed by her. The apparition is not pointing to Jesus. It is not proclaiming God as the healer. Instead, the apparition points to itself and asks “Do you need anything more?” The implication is that Mary is all we need. But, we need much more than Mary. We need Jesus.
In the Fatima apparition, the heresy of works righteousness is taught when the childrens’ suffering is supposed to be “an act of reparation for the sins” by which God is offended. This is false teaching. It is Jesus who performed the act of reparation when he died on the cross (1 Pet. 2:24). We don’t make reparation for our sins before God. Jesus did that.
“For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled sanctify for the cleansing of the flesh, 14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” (Heb. 9:13-14).
“For by one offering, He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified,” (Heb. 10:14).
Also, sins against Mary are mentioned. Really? Where is that in scripture? Our sins are against God. This is why Jesus, God in flesh (John 1:1, 14) became one of us and died on the cross for our sins (1 Peter 2:24) because our sins are against him and he is the one who forgives us. There’s nothing in the Bible about sinning against the “immaculate heart of Mary”. This is idolatry.
you will find the true church in scripture not in the roman Catholic version of events!

You can not point to one scripture that tells you to ask Mary ,dead in the grave spirit alive in the heavenly realm, to do anything for you
. You can not find one verse in the entire bible that tells you to pray to Mary CCC 2679 .
There is no reason why you can not go directly to God for your needs Heb 4:15,16.

"Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective." (James 5:16)
Are there not a SINGLE righteous and powerful man, and woman in heaven? In the KINGDOM OF GOD?
There are. That much is apparent. Of course, we know the apostles, Mary, and other saints who went to heaven.
But apparently according to you alone, Mary can do nothing...also: are you even watching this video? Lol.
Also, if She cannot do anything IN PRAYER, then what makes you think humanly worldly prayers can accomplish ANYTHING at all?
If Mary, who is indeed in heaven, cannot do anything for us, nor any of the saints or the apostles, simply through us PRAYING TO HER, then we are completely unraveled at our feet of our faith in Christ Jesus...because prayer is one of the foundations to Christianity. To subsequently deny praying works to ANYONE in heaven is blasphemy and wrong.
The moment someone enters the kingdom of God, they are righteous, that is irrefutable and undeniable.
So, if the prayers of a righteous person are powerful and effective, then why not pray to those WHO ARE IN HEAVEN?
Also, again: are you just not watching this video? haha: Mary, through the grace and miraculous nature of God, reveals Herself to us in one of MANY miracles She's been apart of on this Earth.
Our Lady of Lourdes and Our Lady of Fatima are 2 more very intriguing accounts. If you haven't looked them up, implore you to see for yourself.
Also, look up Pints with Aquinas's "Every Objection to Mary", because they give the argument the benefit of the doubt, and make it very apparent that Mary is exactly who she says she is in this video.
Peace be with you. Lord bless you, all the same!

@@Peaceful_Gojira Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective." (James 5:16)
Yes and how do you confess your sins one to another if one of you is in the grave and their spirit alive in the heavenly realm? This verse is stating what happens here in life . The prayers of a righteous per avail much and those prayers are by individuals that are alive here not in the heavenly realm . Context proves this point.
Are there not a SINGLE righteous and powerful man, and woman in heaven?
Yes everyone in the heavenly realm is righteous and that includes all believers in Christ, not just
the roman Catholic version of only some are saints. However there is no teaching in the scriptures that ever tells us to pray to a formerly alive saint in the heavenly realm for anything.
But apparently according to you alone, Mary can do nothing...also: are you even watching this video? Lol.
According to scripture Mary is not capable of doing all that the roman Catholic church teaches about her. Video was interesting but scripturally wrong.
Also, if She cannot do anything IN PRAYER, then what makes you think humanly worldly prayers can accomplish ANYTHING at all?
Well you quoted James 5:16 and now you are saying scripture written by God as 2 Peter 1:20,21 points out is wrong?
If Mary, who is indeed in heaven, cannot do anything for us, nor any of the saints or the apostles, simply through us PRAYING TO HER, then we are completely unraveled at our feet of our faith in Christ Jesus...
Look at what you just stated?
"then we are completely unraveled at our feet of our faith in Christ Jesus..."
Our faith is supposed to be in Christ the author and finisher of our faith. Jesus is the one who died for us , Jesus is the one who intercedes for us , and it only through Jesus we get to the father. You have substituted Mary in where only Jesus is.
To subsequently deny praying works to ANYONE in heaven is blasphemy and wrong.
Blasphemy is attributing the works of God to someone else. Attributing Mary or the saints as the ones who help you is against what the scripture tells you.
The moment someone enters the kingdom of God, they are righteous, that is irrefutable and undeniable.
The moment someone repents before God ,asks Jesus to wash their sins away ,1 john 1:9 then Jesus does three things for that believer. 1 Cor 6:11 all past tense as you were something but now you have been justified , sanctified, and washed . Not will be ,but have been!
God takes your dead spirit Gen 5:1-3 and gives it life and places your spirit in the heavenly realm with Jesus Eph 2:6 Your spirit is not capable of sin, whereas your flesh is. You might notice that God NEVER removes your spirit from the heavenly realm. James 5:16 is referring to a living person who has confessed their sins to God and thay are made 100% righteous by Christ . No need to die and be claimed righteous when the Holy sporot working in ones life here can do the same.
So, if the prayers of a righteous person are powerful and effective, then why not pray to those WHO ARE IN HEAVEN?
Because the righteous person is righteous before God while still alive and will have the results as James 5:16 points out . Context points that out.
Mary, through the grace and miraculous nature of God, reveals Herself to us in one of MANY miracles She's been apart of on this Earth.
Yes the video is all about someone who brought Jesus into the world and raised her son up as a good Jew and then there is very little mentioned in scripture ,when her son Jesus began His ministry. The entire new testament is about Jesus and what he is doing and has done for us and Mary is in the scriptures where she is mentioned by name 20 times as the mother of Jesus and her other children and as the most blessed woman in the history of this world. This apparition is calling attention to itself not Jesus , nor is the gospel being presented which is of paramount of importance .
Our Lady of Lourdes and Our Lady of Fatima are 2 more very intriguing accounts. If you haven't looked them up, implore you to see for yourself.
      Yes I have .
“My son, Juan Diego, whom I love as tenderly as a little child, where are you going?”
      “To Mass, my Lady.”
“My son, my beloved son, I am the Ever-Virgin Mary, Mother of the True God, and my desire is for a church to be built to me on this spot, where as the devoted Mother of you and yours, I shall show my loving mercy and the compassion I have for the natives and those who love me and seek me, and all those who ask for my protection and call to me in their troubles and afflictions, and where I will hear their tears and pleas, to bring them consolation and relief. You are to tell the Bishop that I am sending you to ask him to build me a church.”
Compare that to the scriptures and you see the apparition stating that she will do the things that God has said He would do. The apparition is false Build me a church ? why ?
and all those who ask for my protection and call to me in their troubles and afflictions, and where I will hear their tears and pleas, to bring them consolation and relief. Heb 4:15,16 says otherwise,

[7] If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. We also don't pray to the saints, repeating prayers over and over Matthew 6:7 - But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. @@danielguitron *Repetitious Prayer*
It’s not the recitation of prayer that Jesus is referring to in Matthew 6:7, as being in vain, it has to do with meaningless words without proper understanding of the prayer. The Rosary is *meditative* prayer with the meditative part being on the life of JESUS.
Matthew 26:44 shows that Jesus repeated prayer: "So he left them and went away once more and prayed the third time, SAYING THE SAME THING.”
Jesus himself REPEATED prayer by “saying the same thing". Since Jesus is unable to contradict himself, proper repetition of prayer must be ok.
*Here are examples of consistency of prayer and intercessory prayer*
Acts 1:14 “All these with one mind CONTINUED STEADFASTLY IN PRAYER with the women and Mary, the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

🙏My brother He was stabbed in one of his lungs in 2008, in the hospital the doctor told us that he was not going to live for more than a few hours, Because I had lost a lot of blood and the wound was very deep, my mother and grandmother spent that night praying to the Virgin of Guadalupe all night. The next morning the doctor was very astonished and told us that my brother was now stable and that he was slowly but surely recovering, but that he did not know what had happened if his condition was already almost that of a dying person The Night before,
After almost 6 months I was already that night and with my brother already fully recovered and in our house, the day of the Virgin of Guadalupe 12 December 2008, My brother asked my mother who was that woman in the image, she was referring to the Virgin of Guadalupe, he asked that because my father like my brother did not believe in anything supernatural, my brother then said that he knew that LADY, we asked what was he talking about, then he explain to told US, that while he was That night at the hospital UNCONSCIOUS he was in a place full of light and that that same lady was in front of him Hugging him like a son and that he felt Embracing him like a son and that he felt her presence as an unconditional feeling of love and peace, that he had never felt before and that she told him that it wasn't his time, That she had to return to her family that she is always with all her children at all times even when they are not aware of her presence, when my brother told us that, We started to cry of Gratitude and happiness at the same time 😭 since that day my father my brother and I become aware and conscious that the Divine Mother really exist that is more real than anything on this earth that she is really with each one of us no matter the nationality, lenguage, skin color or anything else, we all are her Children 😭 and she love us with her Unconditional love to each one of us her children from this earth and same to all her children in other civilizations around the Universe
Since that day we always have her in our minds, even that we still not religious persons we are Guadalupanos, Virgin of Guadalupe Believers which is not a belief but is a Conscious Understanding and Knowing of her Existence!
That's our Family History with Our lady of Guadalupe!
Personally i asked for her help in 3 different times when I though it was impossible the get a positive outcome from those situations and my awareness about her existence just got stronger because in the 3 different times i got a positive solution to the situations and i develop my own way to pray in that situations, it may sound weird of dumb but in my personal case it worked %100
      This is my way :
I wanted to get a positive solution to my court day so one night before i light a candle for her y put my hands together and with the rhythm of on of her songs which is called (the mañanitas a la virgen de Guadalupe)following that rhythm, i only change the letters instead i was singing like
" o my precious mother i know that you love me mother and I live you to too much as well, and i know that you are with me and that everything it's going to be OK because you my precious mother You envelop me with your infinite love and so nothing bad can happen to me and I give you all my love precious mother and Im consciously aware that everything went well " with the rhythm of that song
Think whatever you want but the 3 times that i asked for help I did it this way i don't know why I did this way but to me it worked! That's my personal History with our divine mother, now o gotta go but i wish you the best for everything in your life's and families my dear brothers and sister around the world and the universe, remember the Unconditional Love and Light FROM OUR LORD JESUS FROM OUR DIVINE MOTHER AND FROM OUR FATHER CREATOR is and always be with You be Consciously Aware of that all the time that you Can see you all soon! 😀🙏 I'm going to upload videos with my personal experiences with our divine mother, divine father creator and our divine lord Jesus thought the years and the SPECIFIC REAL POWERFUL WAYS that i DISCOVER that are %100 effective to : PROTECT US, PROTECT OUR CHILDREN PROTECT OUR FAMILIES AGAINST evil and dangers of today's world,
If you tried countless times praying for something and nothing happen then you need to know and understand why, and you need to know and learn the most powerful way to pray that i discover through many years of experiences and the knowledge that will make you understand and not only believe but Be %100 sure that this really exist and works then each one of you with your free will will decide if you give it a try or not, anyway see you soon Brothers and sisters 🙏❤️😀

2 Thessalonians 1:11 “With this in mind, WE CONSTANTLY PRAY FOR YOU”
      Hebrews 13:18-19 “Pray for us…”
Romans 15:30 “I urge you, brothers and sisters,… to join me in my struggle by PRAYING TO GOD FOR ME.”
Mary is not “asleep” but alive, just as Moses and Samuel, both of whom had physically died, are alive in spirit:

      @@danielguitron *vain repetition*
Ephesians 6:18 “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions WITH ALL KINDS OF PRAYERS AND REQUESTS. With this in mind, be alert and always KEEP ON PRAYING FOR ALL THE LORD’S PEOPLE.”
1 Thessalonians 3:10 “NIGHT AND DAY WE PRAY most earnestly that we may see you face to face and supply what is lacking from your faith.”
2 Thessalonians 1:11 “With this in mind, WE CONSTANTLY PRAY for you…”

@@danielguitron “pope who is not to be called a father”
You have to understanding the language and context of scripture.
Matthew 23:8-10 “…do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven.”
Jesus was referring to the Scribes and Pharisees who set themselves up as the ultimate authorities, as “father figures” in place of God. He was not forbidding the use of HONORIFIC TITLES on those that do have roles as SPIRITUAL FATHERS and teachers. Here are scriptural examples of calling others “father”:
John 8:56 “Your FATHER Abraham was overjoyed to see My day. He saw it and was glad.”
Luke 16:24 “So he cried out, ‘FATHER Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue…’”
Acts 7:2 “And Stephen declared: “Brothers and FATHERS, listen to me! The God of glory appeared to our FATHER Abraham while he was still in Mesopotamia, before he lived in Haran””
Romans 4:16-18 “Therefore, the promise comes by faith… but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the FATHER of us all. As it is written: “I have made you a FATHER of many nations.” He is our FATHER in the sight of God, in whom he believed...”
Romans 9:10 “…Rebekah’s children were conceived at the same time by our FATHER Isaac.”
1 Corinthians 4:14-15 “I do not write these things to make you ashamed, but to admonish you as my beloved children. For though you have countless guides in Christ, you do not have many fathers. For I became your FATHER in Christ Jesus through the gospel.”
1 John 2:14 “…I write to you, FATHERS, because you know him who is from the beginning… “
Also, the 4th commandment is “Honor your Father and Mother”. If you take Matthew 23:8-10 to mean all men on Earth with children, then what would you call your biological father?

@@vinceonyoutube You show your lack of understanding of the scriptures favouring instead, the catholic (T)traditions, catechism and dogmas.
We know about Moses because the bible tells us the arch-angel took his body. Samuel is your poor understanding of scripture and rcc taught allegory and certainly there is NOTHING about Mary.
I find it hilarious that you want to place your own interpretation on scriptures to the point of directly contradicting God’s Word and claiming you know better than the OT writers. Death is the opposite of life, not a transfer to another life, either in heaven or hell. For Man to have an immortal soul, requires every single scripture about life, death, heaven and hell, to be wrong. It requires not only God to be wrong, but also Jesus Christ, the Apostles and all 40 or so Bible writers to be wrong. 2Tim 3v16 which was written before the NT confirms that there is value in studying the OT. The Bible is very consistent in describing death as a dreamless sleep, from which we will awaken when Jesus returns to earth and resurrects His followers; the rest of the dead will be resurrected, judged and destroyed later on, after 1,000 years. Until the return of Jesus, the dead are dead - no consciousness, no thoughts, nothing. Purgatory, the immortal soul, the notion of the dead watching us here on earth from their place in heaven or hell - none of that is biblical. The dead will rise to their reward at the end of days. Until then, they are dead. If you can find any similar instructions in the NT that talks to the writings in the OT, then it applies. You cannot claim those OT writers were clueless. The body turns to dust again, and the spirit goes back to God, who gave it. The spirit of every person who dies-whether saved or unsaved-returns to God at death. The spirit that returns to God at death is the breath of life. Nowhere in all of God’s book does the “spirit” have any life, wisdom, or feeling after a person dies. It is the “breath of life” and nothing more. A soul is a living being. A soul is always a combination of two things: body plus breath. A soul cannot exist unless body and breath are combined. God’s Word teaches that we are souls-not that we have souls.

@@wesleysimelane3423 my guy, no just no. The Bible did not make the church, the church made the Bible. If you really dive in you will see that every single item you had mentioned IS in the Bible on some way or another.
St Jerome (per the request of pope Damasus I) translated the Bible into from Hebrew and Greek into Latin between 383 ad and 404 ad. This was the same Bible used well into the Middle Ages.
If you do just a quick study of early church fathers for ANY Christian faith you will see it all has come from the Catholic Church.

@@dearMathias My sister the roman catholics have adopted many pagan rituals, rites and beliefs. You can ask the hierachy within the rcc and they will glady explain, with twisting of scripture of course.
With regards to the bible, the rcc did not create, authorize, or determine the canon. They simply were part of the process of recognizing a canon that was already there. This raises an important fact about the New Testament canon that every Christian should know. The shape of our New Testament canon was not determined by a vote or by a council, but by a broad and ancient consensus. Here we can agree with Bart Ehrman where he says, “The canon of the New Testament was ratified by widespread consensus rather than by official proclamation.” This historical reality is a good reminder that the canon is not just a man-made construct. It was not the result of a power play brokered by rich cultural elites in some smoke filled room. It was the result of many years of God’s people reading, using, and responding to these books. The same was true for the Old Testament canon. Jesus himself used and cited the Old Testament writings with no indication anywhere that there was uncertainty about which books belonged. Indeed, He held His audience accountable for knowing these books. But, in all of this, there was no Old Testament church council that officially picked them (not even Jamnia). They too were the result of ancient and widespread consensus. In the end, we can certainly acknowledge that humans played a role in the canonical process. But, not the role that is so commonly attributed to them. Humans did not determine the canon, they responded to it. In this sense, we can say that the canon really chose itself. (F. F. Bruce, The New Testament Documents: Are They Reliable?, Grand Rapids, Eerdmans, 1960, p. 27). One thing must be emphatically stated. The New Testament books did not become authoritative for the Church because they were formally included in a canonical list; on the contrary, the Church included them in her canon because she already regarded them as divinely inspired, recognizing their innate worth and generally apostolic authority, direct or indirect. The first ecclesiastical councils to classify the canonical books were both held in North Africa-at Hippo Regius in 393 and at Carthage in 397-but what these councils did was not to impose something new upon the Christian communities but to codify what was already the general practice of these communities.

Thank you and God bless you, Gabi, Father Giovanni, and everyone involved in the making of this beautiful video of Our Lady of Guadalupe. May I add a personal prayer to her in my native tongue.
