  • What does it mean to play the blues? How many ways can it be expressed? I find myself always going back to the blues. It's everything I do.
Excerpt from my solo saxophone show on Twitch back in January. This one is me improvising the blues in different forms and moods, going through the history and beyond from just a few of my perspectives. None of this was planned, and as a result, the transitions are really exploratory here and not as put together as they could be, haha. I hope you enjoy this concert and demonstration either way!
As always, if you have any thoughts or questions, let me know in the comments below. I might talk about them in a future video!

Hello Patrick, it would be nice hearing what are the musicians that influenced you for the blues and also maybe if you can make a mini lesson one day about that. This solo was super!

Man, I asked in your last videos comments if you could share your thoughts about dynamics and rhythm-and this is kinda the answer right here. Lol

Great performance! That microphone set up you have is great, it really takes apart the pieces of your tone!
