I love it on how Oroboros seems to be the only person, in the TVA, who hasn’t had their memory wiped. He was left so much alone, it was like either he was forgotten, or because he stayed down there so much, he never saw or learned anything requiring a memory wipe. Makes sense, since he always has to remember to do all that he does down there. He can recall everything from over 400 years ago, yet people like Mobius can’t.
Did y’all catch the History reference on the chicken nuggets ?!??? 1981 was the year they were introduced to the menu, and the guy said “our recently added”(paraphrased) !!!!!!!!!
Loki didn't actually prune himself in this episode. You can see the stick behind him when he starts to dissolve, somebody hit him in the back in that scene. Which works out for him, but it makes you wonder who did it and why.

If I have it right, as you get closer & closer to the event horizon of a black hole the difference in gravitational attraction across the length of your body increases until the pull at the soles of your feet is so much greater than the pull at the top of your head that you get stretched apart as first the molecules and then the atoms of your body are drawn away from each other in an ever lengthening chain. more than ever the sets and props for the TVA in Loki strongly remind me of the aesthetic from Terry Gilliam's movie "Brazil," where everything in that "film's future vision" is a more clunky and cumbersome version of tech from the past. pnuematic tubes and especially the giant air tube/duct on Moebius' suit are extremely Brazil-like, and wonderfully Kafkaesque as well.
I don't know if there's a detail that "grabbed me," but I was enjoying Loki's new-found trust in others that is in full bloom here after his development in season 1.

I collected comics back in the 1980s so I'm pretty steeped in Marvel lore. I read XMen (Days of Future Past met my expectations, Death of Phoenix did not), knew Wolverine's name & history, Daredevil & knew who Stick was, was waiting eagerly for "Avengers Assemble!", recognized Clea's cameo at the end of Dr Strange 2 & knew her significance still to come. maybe there were Marvel easter eggs but they weren't obvious to me. with this being the Multiverse I expect (hope) we will get at least glimpses of various characters' variants but this is Loki's show so I'm betting they'll be brief. we shall see.
I know this isn’t the place and I don’t know how you feel about DC comics but I think a show you would really like on Max is “My Adventures with Superman”. It’s a really funny and warming show about Superman learning how to be Superman. It’s only one season and 10 episodes but it’s so good
Don't know how you feel about subtitles, but if you like the aesthetic in the R&A room I feel you might like Mic-Macs. Maybe for personal viewing rather than the channel as it's in French with subtitles, but it's very quirky & fun. It's by the guy who did Amelie, so sweet with lots of odd characters & a plot that's just the right kind of mad
Sylvie has been my favorite MCU character by far ever since season one. She's just a total badass on every level. The fact that she's the perfect foil for her male counterpart (and arguably better than him at just about everything) is a lot of fun. I'm really looking forward to this season, it's likely going to be nothing short of EPIC and 100% bonkers. However, in episode two... we need more Sylvie!
Maybe I'm cynical, but I suspect that the TVA at the end of season 1 was not originally supposed to be the past but actually an alternate reality. But then they noticed that people are getting sick of the whole multiverse thing, and perhaps more importantly nobody was happy that the Loki-Mobius relationship would get reset. So they retconned it hard this season to keep viewers happy. ;)
We did not see Loki prune himself. It could be true that he is there already to prune his "old" self maybe. But it's still a mystery who actually pruned him :)

As for McDonald's... I believe they instituted the Filet o' Fish for the Catholics who couldn't eat meat on Fridays. It may be weird, but it's actually not that bad. I've always like the Filet o' Fish, but only when it's fresh. (Meaning freshly cooked.) If it's been sitting there a while, it gets very not good very quickly. These days, it's not worth the money they're charging for it. So, I haven't had one in a while. When there's a sale, though, I'll ask for them to make me a fresh one... I'll wait. Thanks for the watch. Looking forward to the next one.

Unless the Sylvie of then was to distract him in the lift, so that very Sylvie could then go back & prune Loki while he was looking at her future past self... 🤔🤯 - I need to go and lay down. 🛌🏻 The continuity team this season are going to be 🤪 by the final episode.
