If I have it right, as you get closer & closer to the event horizon of a black hole the difference in gravitational attraction across the length of your body increases until the pull at the soles of your feet is so much greater than the pull at the top of your head that you get stretched apart as first the molecules and then the atoms of your body are drawn away from each other in an ever lengthening chain. Fun with science!
I loved the contrast between the amber/brown scheme of the "upstairs" and the sharp lines and angles of the war room compared to the greens/blues of the "downstairs" and all the curves and circular elements of the R+A room.

more than ever the sets and props for the TVA in Loki strongly remind me of the aesthetic from Terry Gilliam's movie "Brazil," where everything in that "film's future vision" is a more clunky and cumbersome version of tech from the past. pnuematic tubes and especially the giant air tube/duct on Moebius' suit are extremely Brazil-like, and wonderfully Kafkaesque as well.

Maybe I'm cynical, but I suspect that the TVA at the end of season 1 was not originally supposed to be the past but actually an alternate reality. But then they noticed that people are getting sick of the whole multiverse thing, and perhaps more importantly nobody was happy that the Loki-Mobius relationship would get reset. So they retconned it hard this season to keep viewers happy. ;)

I collected comics back in the 1980s so I'm pretty steeped in Marvel lore. I read XMen (Days of Future Past met my expectations, Death of Phoenix did not), knew Wolverine's name & history, Daredevil & knew who Stick was, was waiting eagerly for "Avengers Assemble!", recognized Clea's cameo at the end of Dr Strange 2 & knew her significance still to come. maybe there were Marvel easter eggs but they weren't obvious to me. with this being the Multiverse I expect (hope) we will get at least glimpses of various characters' variants but this is Loki's show so I'm betting they'll be brief. we shall see.

Maybe for personal viewing rather than the channel as it's in French with subtitles, but it's very quirky & fun. Sylvie has been my favorite MCU character by far ever since season one. She's just a total badass on every level. The fact that she's the perfect foil for her male counterpart (and arguably better than him at just about everything) is a lot of fun. As for McDonald's... I believe they instituted the Filet o' Fish for the Catholics who couldn't eat meat on Fridays. It may be weird, but it's actually not that bad. I've always like the Filet o' Fish, but only when it's fresh. (Meaning freshly cooked.) If it's been sitting there a while, it gets very not good very quickly. These days, it's not worth the money they're charging for it. So, I haven't had one in a while. When there's a sale, though, I'll ask for them to make me a fresh one... I'll wait. I'm wondering with all the court drama that's going on with Jonathan majors, I'm wondering if he's going to be in the season 2 or they're going to show him here and there until the whole court thing's over with. Given how sensitive Disney is to keep its products "clean" and family friendly even the hint of something going on will have them consider options. Unfortunately for Marvel Kang is the cornerstone of their new storyline so not as easily replaceable. If Majors' character had been a small supporting role he'd be gone by now and replaced with a different actor, i think Marvel is waiting to see how the courts decide before making any big changes this late in the storyline but no matter how it turns out i think Major's career with Disney is done.
Ke Huy Quan is so good, his IMDB page has a huge gap from 1997 to 2002 and I need to know who is responsible for keeping him from us so I can vent my rage!!!
