You really went out on a limb to make this video. Awesome stuff this was a two bag of popcorn video. Love the rigging stuff.
Tim that valve is key! Would love to see you market a good model. Be well
That was a good video Tim, appreciate the time you put into it, the end result on the pruning turned out awesome, thanks for sharing 🌲💪🇺🇸
Good afternoon Tim.
Thank you for sharing more than just getting the rope up. It was all very interesting.
Ed
Thank you for sharing and showing how you set up looks great! Love watching your videos you take the time to explain everything and us young tree guys really appreciate it!
Awesome video! Would love to see more on how you actually ascended to the top if you weren’t using spikes!
What a great video. Very interesting techniques and like you say it looks like quite a work out. Can’t get over the clarity of your camera. Thanks
Man I know it's not practical. But u should sell that set up. I bet there's tons of people who would buy it. Ty for sharing this.
Love from Mississippi USA 🇺🇸
Love the cannon. Big shot has been great, time to upgrade!
Love that Chipper!
Nice work bro. l didnt know so work went into getting everything setup/prework. Awesome video...!
Thanks Tim,really enjoyed the video
Good stuff Tim, You are the Master of the grab:):)
The bad part about pruning sweetgum/Liquidambar trees is all the sprouts that will pop out around the cuts made.
Question, why did you put the rope through a metal connector rather than straight through the butterfly?
Getting of the machine to fool with the chipper would drive me crazy. I’ve got spoiled and lazy since ours has a remote that controls everything😂
Big shot with trigger works well also. While 100ft up is seldom needed in my neck o the woods she’ll throw a 12oz bag and do it accurately at that height. Lotsa ways to skin a cat ... ✌️
Look like a hardware store on your belt. I think Batman needs to lend you some of his technology.
Great job and great explanation on everything. I made my own Apta as well. I'll send you a picture on IG sometime. Happy Easter to you and your family.
Keep up the good work!
Does your machinist buddy sell those aluminum sprinkler valve heads?
Your next chipper will have a tandem axle.
Educational..
Thanks for showing your air cannon. Do you ever use the device you showed on one of your videos where you were geocaching and had a sling shot with a open face spinning real mounted to it. You shot a light fishing line way up in a tree in one video and over a tall bridge foundation in another video.
What is the life span of the climbing rope how do you know when it is time for a new one
Mr. Cotton: do you have any feeling in the injured thumb?
curious. . . would you trust that contraption up to 200 PSI?? btw nice meeting you in Indy
I have used it to 175psi. It can easily have the air chamber swapped over to a metal air chamber.
@@cotontop3 I’d pay or trade with you if you’d make me a metal one. Plus YT WILL be cool for you and I
Who needs a gym membership rite? haha Great vids Thanks!
I'm sure you have gotten this asked before but... now that you have had some time working with your 15, would you have purchased the 18 if had the chance? (ex. double axle)
Would love some specifics on the air cannon. You said it’s a sprinkler body? Any particular model better than another? What is the release handle made from?
Any sprinkler valve will work and any air blower will work for the trigger.
Good morning Tim, I’m not sure if you said one way or the other but do you paint or cover the ends of the limbs next to the tree to protect from insects or rot? Thank you Sir.
How much did you spend on your mini-excavator with the grapple and all attached with it?
Little over 80k currently.
Hey There Tim: Thanks for making the videos its always great to see how you do things. I made myself a throw bag launcher similar to yours but mine has the ball valve and I'd live to convert it to a trigger release like you have. What brand of Sprinkler valve did you use? None of the ones I have found come apart with the screws like the one you have used. Thanks for the Info in advance. Bob
I think it’s a rain bird.
What size pvc is the canister is it 1 1/2 or 2”
It’s a 2”
What size pipe is used for the air chamber? Is it PVC or ABS? Thanks!!
2” pvc
How does the Xstatic feel Tim? I've been using the Drenaline and it is really comfortable and has some bounce to it.
The barrels 28” 😆 you are a hunter aren’t you.
