    I was determined to get the FH02 and after watching your video I backed away, it's difficult to find a projector with an affordable price but that allows decent maintenance... I don't want to give up being able to change the lamp myself and do a periodic cleaning, here in Brazil it It is being talked about a lot as a great value for money projector and only receives good marks from buyers... when I raised this issue in a group and talked about your personal video, you didn't take my comments well.

      We agree 100%. An item flagged as use and dispose is unacceptable, more like today that economy is doing so bad. I believe that the first projectors will have problems in the next months and this will prove not good for EPSON. I also believe that these machines exist mainly to convince buyers to go to the more expensive models. Thanks for your comment my friend!

    Hello my friend, I come back here after almost 2 months to share my experience, even with doubts and questions, I chose to buy the FH02 considering that its direct competitors are Chinese and without a manufacturer's warranty, for now the experience regarding the quality of The image is excellent, I already have 220 hours of use in ECo mode, I contacted the Epson representative here in Brazil where they confirmed the 2-year warranty and also that the lamp can be replaced as long as it is on the Epson support , I would like to know what your experience with it is currently like and if you have formed any opinion regarding the product after this period of publishing the video, once again thank you for your attention.

      Thanks for being here buddy! I have just sold the projector a few weeks ago. I never liked it to be true. It was going slightly out of focus after a while, the quality was so and so, and it was a magnet for dust. No filter for a 3LCD unit? Unacceptable. And the overall quality of the electronics was really bad. Sold it for the price of a new lamp for a PROMETHEAN PRM-45 I found on the trash and I could never be happier. A 11 years old projector that is superior to everything compared to a model that was produced less than 2 years ago. Just keep it clean as possible to last as long as it lasts. Hope you enjoy the EPSON.

    Thank you for saving me from an expensive paper weight, I will save up to get the more expensive EB-FH52, that model has all the missing features.

    Hello my friend.... after reading a lot about it I couldn't find out which model of lamp this projector uses, did you have to disassemble it to identify which lamp it is and if it is possible to replace it, here in Brazil the projector is 2 years old warranty, but the lamp is only for 90 days, so if there is a problem with the lamp after 90 days, you will have to bear the costs, of course if it is possible to replace it.

    • @Kujokouklos
      @Kujokouklos  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Thanks for commenting my friend! I have not disassembled the unit further as it is the one I am using daily. When the lamp fails (and it will fail eventually) I plan to tear it down and see what kind of bare bulb EPSON has put inside. Unit is close to 1500 hours in ECO mode right now and still going strong.

      @@Kujokouklos Hello friend, I also have the Fh02 and I have been using it for almost 10 months, I have surpassed the 1500 hour mark and it is still in perfect condition with everything working 100%, I noticed that your intention is to disassemble it to see the type of lamp, I would like to Find out if you've already done this and how things are going with your unit.

    Hi, Does TW 750 better than this? Looks it has bulb replacement but it's more older model. Just thinking about old model )
    The older does have wireless USB Android tv stick, but I guess I can buy it separately?
    Thanks!

    • @Kujokouklos

      Yes the 750 is an awesome projector. Replacement lamps are everywhere, and you can buy your own stick to use as you see fit. Just be adviced that 740 and 750s are out of production so, if you want one new, just hurry!

    Hi, I have a question, only 1 HDMI, so I won't be able to keep the android TV dongle plugged, while connecting another HDMI like a laptop? will I have to unplug the dongle every time? (not convenient when it is ceiling mounted) Thanks!

    • @Kujokouklos
      @Kujokouklos  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, only one. I do not have the projector any more, but as long as I used it, I had an HDMI input adaptor with 5 inputs and 1 output. That output was connected to the projector. It was an axcellent solution and the cost was only 15 euros I believe!

    In the biz we call this manufactured E-waste. I found you through Frank, too! Great stuff man. But yea, Epson is trash and as much as I'd like to be surprised they're trying this crap, I'm not. I worked at a school and a few years ago, the replaced all their BenQ's with Epson projectors and they were garbage. Flickering lamps, power/board issues, noisy, poor image quality--the whole 9 yards (Epson Powerlite 98H and Powerlite 108 models). I had 2 Epson models of my own, both of which were trash. They had good image quality for the first year, but degraded quickly even though I took good care of them. I vowed never again

    The LED in the CO-FH02 lasts for 18 years (on average usage). Which is a lot lot longer than the old lamp style projectors.
    Hence you won’t be needing to replace the lamp.

    • @Kujokouklos
      @Kujokouklos  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      There is no LED assy on this projector. It is a straight old-tech lamp like all the entry level projectors driven by a classic style ballast just like the old school models. Thus, I expect it to last for a few thousand hours at best! Thanks for commenting my friend!
