Fantastic video, i was trying to explain this to someone and found your video. It did exactly what I was trying to do quickly and clearly. A+ keep up the awesome work!
HELLO, Do you know how to fix audio issue on AVID Mbox 3. It's so low I can't record vocals with it. Flat line. The 2 inputs are like that, used a headphone as mic on both channels and it works fine. (Not the MIC) help!!!
What if you tracked using RMS between 20-15? Using this Klanghelm VUMT has standard -18db and also has RMS Meter +3dB shouldn’t I use the VUMT RMS? But what is the sweet spot on this plugin RMS meter? Is it still 0 where the red is? Or is it around -12 in the black? Ty
Great job there, thank you. I have some recordings with 0.0 db which probably means they are cliping. So, if I just take those peaking sections and I lower the gain a bit, would that be a correct technical solution for it, or I would have to record again? Thank you.

Thank you, I had been googling such explanation for many days.

ask how can I look at the volume numbers next to the volume control of each channel

Are they clipping (now) or "clipped" already?
When your metering do you use the Pro Tools Classic Meter? and on that one 0 on the top is 0 dbFS ?
