Wow! This is what I'm looking for when we are talking mobile hotel room. So much room where it counts! This layout makes you feel part of the gathering no matter where you are in the great room.
WoW! Just WoW.. this has got it all fir a couple that does not want a mega 5th wheel. Great job Josh in all you do. You and your true unbiased comments make my day when you share a post. BTW, that Matt photo bombed you through the storage door....lol Please keep doing what you do. You are the best.
No, sorry, Josh, that corner spot is mine 😄. So is the kitchen. I could cook without everyone being underfoot but still nearby. Always a dinette rather than a table, because I am always about the storage. That slide arrangement is brilliant, and you can still reach the kitchen. This is a great rv.
So we all know how this works The wife of the house or as most men call it the boss takes the spot she wants You put up with it because you'll lose something That's as far as I'm going on that subject 🍦
@@JoshtheRVNerd keep me in mind looking for the older floor plans type 5th wheel 30-35 feet one or two (2 if it's a wardrobe slide) but Gvwr 10,000 lbs this is getting back to that.
This is, by far, my favorite 5th wheel layout! The living/dining space is wide open and still connected to the kitchen. There are tons of windows on both sides and the back. This one is a keeper!
I like this layout. I like the white color scheme vs brown for cabinets and the shower is perfect!! As well all the windows. I like booths over chairs and tables. I don’t like the 1/4 showers they nailed it! I love that new couch layout too.
That sofa setup looks so comfortable! Dining area could really benefit from being a bit larger for sure. Bathroom is practical and pretty. I like the wood grain look "headboard" in bedroom. If the unit was 2-4 feet longer with a bit bigger kitchen and more storage in bedroom this would be near perfect for us! I can see why you like this one! Thanks Josh for another great review! You're the best!
I LOVE that floor plan and the L-Sofa is fantastic. Love the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom with a king bed. Yes 2 A/C's, stackable washer/dryer, WOW. This is a winner.
Oh boy I have found my perfect rv. I would personally take out the table and chairs and make that a desk space. That giant back window is nice but a storage wall would be awesome. Especially if you go with the another trifold sofa. Now it's a bunk room at under 37ft.
I have a 315 RLS Cougar currently. If I were to think about upgrading, THIS camper would definitely be the one I would get. Amazing floor plan. Love it. Thanks Josh.
Absolutely love the table and chairs because who “has” or “wants” a booth dinette in their house🙄And that sofa is awesome because of the included theater seating👍
Hey Uncle Josh hope you're having a great day? I really like what Cougar is doing with this unit. The living room is amazing, I do agree that the TV needs to be bigger. I think an 60 to a 65 inch TV would work without eating up to much of the lower storage. I like that they have changed the floor heat ducts to keep dirt an debris out of the ducts.the sectional in the living room is a great choice, with plenty of seats an to of them recline. The bathroom has plenty of space plus the shower height is great.the master bedroom is awesome with space to get around the bed an the closet is spacious an a separate closet for the stackable washer an dryer. The outside storage is great. I'm glad that you have choices when it comes to the solar packages that they offer. As always Thank You Uncle Josh for everything that you do bring us all the information, the good an bad. Your number one fan Leonard from NC.
This is a great layout. I really like it! Love the sofa, the kitchen, the new hand rail for the ext. door. We like dinettes, but that table is fine. Glad they are making the slide wider, as that looks very tight. Needs a second ac unit.
Josh I agree they should give thei4 choice of table and chairs or booth😊😊👍👍👍👍👍 that's an innovative handrail at the entry door but Couga4 n3eds to put some kind of protective cap at the 3nd of the rail😊😊 now Cougar can just drop this one off at my house😊😊😊😊 I Love this one😊😊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
This was one at Hershey I made sure I checked out. Love what they've done especially the kitchen changes sense the show. I'm like you I'm not the largest fan of a 341 style plan this tho I could live with. Now they gotta make one with bunks👍👍
This one feels like it accomplishes the same rear den without a janky kitchen Frankly... it's a great kitchen And NOT extending that camp-side slide forward actually works here This thing is a winner I think
Its a nice design i always like table an chairs because can be pulled. To do cother things with that space an put pack. Like a little Christmas tree or little desk.
Love all the windows. We hardly ever watch TV so a bigger one is not essential for us. The kitchen looks great. I like the table and chairs verses booth seating and with all that sofa who needs a booth but yes another 6 inches would be much nicer! The bed looks like it would be hard to make and I’m not liking no bedside tables. I actually think the fridge is to big but that’s just me. Thanks Josh! I don’t know if we will ever upgrade but I really like this floor model and the windows make it two thumbs up for me.
Table and chairs for me and yes to the 60 inch TV if not just for aesthetics alone. Second air for me please. I like the looks of that new entry door hand rail and seems like it would be more functional too. It's nice to see a different floorplan even if it is sort of a old new plan. I like the living room a lot. That 400 and 600 solar package sound awesome. Thanks Nerd!
The big solar packages definitely sound cool but I often wonder how useful they really would be on a big model like this Here in the midwest this would be a park-use camper almost exclusively. But I don't know if that applies everywhere
You could even have a pair of barstools on the island. Great floor plan. Livable. If this is just the prototype, and they need to make room for Mark Two, I'd be willing to just take it off their hands, only too happy to help 🤪💚
Nice layout, my personal preference would be to have a campside superslide to make more room for stools at the bar of the kitchen which could allow for one more really nice swivel rocker, recliner!!!!
I absolutely love this floorplan and 100% yes to a 65-inch TV. My first thoughts were how can I make that a bigger TV lol. Also, get rid of the seat in the shower it uses too much space and I don't want to be cramped up by the faucet.
Pack a couple of folding bar stools and that curved extension on the sink counter becomes a snack bar whether at camp or in road mode. Needs more outlets\USB ports around that sofa. Location of the outlets in the bedroom are in an awkward place. I'm sure they'll make adjustments from feedback. That nesting slide is clever.
Love this. I don’t feel claustrophobic watching this. Will REALLY love it when they add the extra inches to the dining area. This one has real possibilities.
Wow Josh, I really like this. I would only suggest a couple of minor changes. The dinning area is too small. But another foot or so would fix that. I would leave it a dinnett and not a booth. The other thing is that they seem to ignor us older folks who have to use a CPAP and there is not a location to put one.
Need to loose the big rear window and got to a fixed tv of like 70” and then put in an outside storage door for the area behind the fireplace. Also put in a full fiberglass shower setup and do put in a super slide so you have room for table and chairs and a dedicated desk/office setup. I also don’t care for huge windows because of heating and cooling, glass is terrible insulating. By doing these items you would have a super amazing setup.
Have been looking for a good floorplan and this one fit the bill. I prefer the table, like the handrail but the dealbreaker is actually the molded seat in the shower. Really need a fold up seat instead.
I love this one. Bigger tv, bigger dining area, would be perfect. I maybe would have put an option for 1 sofa and 2 separate theatre seats. Don’t like the side by side fridge. Would opt for a fridge with the freezer drawer. Colors are great too because they aren’t dark brown 👍🏻😊. Also, you know we’re looking for a 5th wheel under 40 ft. Perfect, perfect, perfect!
Good looking camper. I would not care if it didn't come with a TV, would buy my own ( larger) and keep the storage space. The hand rail is a good idea as well
Saw this in Tampa RV show. Dinette option YES! Bigger TV yes. Cant sit in the corner or the space to the right on the sofa side if a person is using recliner, unless you are streched out on the sofa. In other news...I would love you to do a video on the Keystone fifth wheel frames (assuming you haven't done so already).
Thanks Josh for all of your reviews. Finally, Cougar has a nice floor plan…my husband and I have always liked Cougars but the floor plans were not ideal for us…BUT this fifth wheel looks so promising. ❤ I can’t wait till these come to Canada so we can go inside and check them out. Love the the sectional! Love all the windows too! Can’t wait to see a larger dinette area. Keep up the great reviews Josh! Thanks.
This could almost convert me to be a 5th Wheeler owner but I'm one person so prob not. The bathroom is the only sticking point .. the sink (small sink) is right under the cabinet. That's going to result in knocking your head I'm sure. They need to rethink that cabinet to maybe a recessed or loose the storage all together and find other storage ideas. LOVE the living room tho!! Now if they could create the same feel for a smaller unit, I'd be so happy!
I'm not in the market for something this big, but I absolutely LOVE what Cougar did with this RV! I might have to buy a bigger truck! The ONLY thing I want, is a bigger, wider slide for that dinette area. At least 12" wider....at least. I'm a table & chair guy, all the way. And they might as well put the washer & dryer in place at the factory, that would be the first "upgrade" I would buy. Other than that, It's pretty close to perfect. Great job Cougar! Can I reserve the first production unit that comes out of the factory? (And it BETTER come with a mini Goodyear blimp in the storage compartment.) Thanks again for another awesome video Uncle Josh!
We have the cougar 29 RES. It has the L shape couch with two recliner across the couch. We love the L-shape couch. We do not care for the entertainment center to be on the side of the 5th wheel our preference is the entertainment center in the back of the 5th wheel. And our friends always comment how rooming our coach is compared to others. I am so happy to see Cougar is bringing the L-shape couch back. I do think enlarging the diner area as much as possible is a must, also a booth should be an option. I am not a fan of the side portions of the valance, our dining chairs hit the side valance causing potential for damage. Definitely the large kitchen and couch slide does require a heavy duty mechanism for stability then the cable system. We did not want to upgrade our 5th wheel because the L-shape couch was not available. This model is a game changer for us!
yes! That 29RES was like the little brother to this one but with a super similar living room. You're definitely right how it feels so large vs. the size!
I would like a option to swap the dining table for a regular theater seat, and flush floor mounts for pole mounted small tables. IMO that would be an amazing setup as well. This is nice.
Love the layout!! Love that sofa! It didn’t look like you could open the refrigerator side in road mode though. My. husband is 6’4” tall and standing in the skylight to shower would be fine, but they keep putting the shower seats under the skylight! Please stop doing that. That TV is plenty large. You’re not sitting more that 10’ away from it. Love where the dining table is and do prefer the table over dinette. And I do vote for a little more room in there.
Not sure if anyone else has brought up this point but when I first saw this one it reminded me a LOT of the living room of the Grand Design Momentum 395MS, while being literally 10's of 1000's of dollars cheaper!
When I saw this at Hershey, I fell in love. Had that, “Say ‘YES’ to the rig moment.” Also, the prototype at Hershey did not have the pantry/coffee bar. Cool! QUICK QUESTION for the Tow Police? Can I tow this with a F350 dully?
6 butt reasons: As a couple without kids at home, I can entertain? Have the kids visit? Bridge/Spades/Hearts/Poker night? Grandkids visit us? 6'+ sons never sit on a couch they lay across it? My dogs own the sofa space? Lol. Just for fun!! I always want the dinette; I hate chairs, and do have kids and grandkids that I take with me when I can. 2 air for sure, course I live in a desert, so the more chill the better!!
This might be my favorite mid profile 5th wheel. It's not as space efficient as a the trad rear living I usually prefer but I love the big sectional and the dining slide would make for a great desk setup with 270 degrees of window coverage. Absolutely get the second air. With as much glass as that lower deck has you will want the extra cooling. I can't help but picture this with a massive 75 tv on the rear wall and some good speakers. It would make for a fantastic movie space. Edit: You know that kitchen peninsula. If they extended the counter a little more towards the door they could put some stools there for a breakfast bar.
@@JoshtheRVNerd I went to look at the floorplan on keystone's website and the floorplan actually says "barstool seating" on it. This is a trend I'm really liking.
That slide has to weight a ton, very VERY glad they are moving it to a rack and pinion. The small pantry and tiny bathroom linen closet are deal breakers for us (going full time). Concerned about how sturdy the front door grab handle is, what do you think??? We are VERY interested in the "Rear Entertainment/Rear Den" floor plans since they feel more like a house to us. Whatever unit we pick, we are wedging in our Sony 75" 4K tv and a rear den allows that!
Wow! I love it!! Awesome!! Thanks Josh! ❤️❤️
Absolutely love it… you have another mic drop moment my friend.

Awesome floor plan!!! Much more modern than the normal rear living floor plans!
I really love the layout. It does require a little more length but i feel like the juice is worth the squeeze

I would like a option to swap the dining table for a regular theater seat, and flush floor mounts for pole mounted small tables. IMO that would be an amazing setup as well. This is nice.
Interesting. TY

You're the first to mention!
Wife needs a sewing area. So table and chairs but get rid of them and build a desk for her. Love the layout.
I'm starting to see some desk functions show up in the industry. Hopefully that trend continues
I would rather have the booth other than chairs for dining but this is a great looking unit!! Thanks Josh!!!
Usually cougar offers both as options so I believe you could do that
When I saw this at Hershey, I fell in love. Had that, “Say ‘YES’ to the rig moment.” Also, the prototype at Hershey did not have the pantry/coffee bar. Cool! QUICK QUESTION for the Tow Police? Can I tow this with a F350 dully?
Yeah that type of vehicle is often what's used to deliver these
6 butt reasons: As a couple without kids at home, I can entertain?
You're the 2nd to mention the breakfast bar. I like seeing trends like that. TY
@@JoshtheRVNerd I went to look at the floorplan on keystone's website and the floorplan actually says "barstool seating" on it. This is a trend I'm really liking.
All for the 65” TV.
Really likethis set up, would be great for working out of too
Never thought of that!
Big but I like it!
This might be The One!
Love the couch. Kitchen table needs more room. Awesome though.
Sounds like that’s exactly what they’re doing
It would be nice if the table would be able to swivel to become a desk.
I prefer table and chairs but I would prefer the flooring in living room to extend to dining area.

Really shiny fridge 😂
