Just sharing memories of our deep sea fishing adventure off Kuching Sarawak on Ocean Shadow charters, landing groupers, snappers, mackerels and more. Thankful for the great weather and company across the 5 days.
Unknown to us, Mt Ruang erupted across the days when we were out at sea which could explain why the abundant huge snappers visible on the sonar screens were not readily biting. Instead, we had endless instant takes from juvenile groupers and other fishes throughout the days.

Electric reel no fun lah.... People go fish must have that fighting feeling with the fish mah...
they got money mah.. also spinning the reel for whole days for 2/3 days is tiring.. thats the use of eletric reel.. never try never know bro
How much u rent the boat? What bait did you use? Live prawns?
It depends on the number of person on the boat and number of nights and days. For 2D2N Should be above $600 per person. Main bait is live squid.
