Very good review, its great to see comic characters get toys. Drift holds a good example of a very well designed toy, some really good swords as well as the toy is very poseable and articulate and aside from that. He is a Samurai :D and he just looks superb.
Taking away from a great toy over quibbles with him playing Go or being a bit of a weirdo is taking away from a great toy for no good reason. Great review. And hey, giant bendy noodle sword fits in TFA Arcee's hands.
@Vange1us Vangelus, It's well worth picking up the SRC Mazinger Z and it's Weapons pack. It's such a fun toy to mess around with. It even looks awesome posing it with the Revoltech Getter Robo Go Sword/axe/thing.
I was SUPER HAPPY that I grabbed Drift. I don't collect many TFs unless I really like the character or that the toy looks pretty cool/has a good review, but Drift...yeah, I bought him for his awesome swords. :D I can't for Blur to be released where I live (Quebec, go fig). New headsculpt and comes with GUNS OF AWESOME. Also, love the mid-sequeteur. Driftopher Walken took me by surprise. XD
see I think the feet are a strong point. the simple weighy of the lower leg gives some serious balance that some ball jointed feet just can't hack especially once they have some wear. (my floppy footed sideswipe will attest to this fact) very good review. fantastic toy!
Even with some problems that it has, Generations Drift is defenetly great figure for its size. By the way that was one good Christopher Walken impersonation.

Is kinda sad that he didn't get some kind of ankle joints or a waist articulation but he is a pretty cool figure. btw, i got a problem with my version of the figure and perhaps you can answer it. My Drift version's chest part when im trying to lock it in place in robot mode it doest lock at all but stays like is presented, by any chance is your copy as well having that problem or perhaps is only my copy?
Japanese bit is crazy hilarious. As is your Mary Sue. I liked the shamisen music- is it from Shinkenger, or does it just use a common source? Also: W Xtreme! Figuarts! Memory! You can't tease us with that stuff, man!

10 years later and I still wouldn't pass up the chance to be in a group with Kamen Rider W and Manzinger Z. Maybe they should add a letter after Drift's name so he can fit in.

The people who insult Drift do so becuase they nearly aren't as Robo-Samuri as he is, they're just jealous, and come on, with two combat blades, an epic vechicle mode, massive possibility, and a gaint robotic sword that is probly 30 stories tall, who wouldn't be? (also props to the subtitles for the Zorro from One Piece referance)

Wheeljack is in Prime, and he has swords. He's pretty much Drift but with Wheeljack's head and name, but not Wheeljack's personality.
I'm a little dissapointed because I have the generations Blurr and it is the same figure but different colors face and weapons
