Perhaps would a added a fine 3M rubbing compound at the end and cleaned it. Coat it in boiled linseed oil and let it absorb in heat for a few cycles. Wipe super dry and clean with mild soap, then waxing. Makes a world of difference. You're finishing removing any possible scratches at that point, reabsorbing some protective oils in the plastic, and somewhat sealing it.
After you restored the lenses, what would happen if you coat it with vehicle wrap clear? knowing that the same thing will happen if you leave it out in the sunlight and no kind of protection...
So I’ve been thinking about your question about the wrap and I’m thinking if it’s in service the wrap might start to peal and leave the glue like residue and make it difficult to clean again. By the way I’m the light bar guy commenting off my other channel.

Those look fantastic. I’d honestly wonder about sanding them down and spraying them with automotive clear coat to protect them.
You can but it will flake over time
What about a rubbing compound?
Is novus any better
Not sure still haven’t used it
Is that a yankee dietz or signalstat lightbar
It’s a code 3 lp

Not sure never thought about trying it. I’m sure it would probably get scratched up from stone chips idk though

I would never junk an old lightbar
If you have the amount I do it gets to a point where you really don’t care about the lower value bars as much.
I have an entire lightbar in minecraft
Sorry dude YOU NEVER USE ANYTHING WITH AMMONIA IN IT TO CLEAN PLASTIC
