Hi! Do they have transfer or taxi to the hotel and back to the airport for free or you have to pay? Did you buy SIM card in airport? Thank you for your answer!
There is a free Bus you can get, I think you may need to book your seat, but not 100% I got there later so I got a taxi which was not expensive. I bought an Esim for 2 days from Holafly - rwrd.io/d4d7459 You can use that link for 5% off an esim. Happy to help ☺️
I had dinner at the hotel when I arrived, it was a buffet (around 10mins in) It was £15, Lots of desserts which made me happy. Breakfast was included from my memory and was pretty good. lots of choice and fresh bread.
After having booked the hotel via the Holidays website - I just showed up at the hotel and showed them my confirmation email and they had me on the system :)
I'm curious to do this but I think it would have to be 3 nights otherwise it would be too much running around and stress that it wouldn't be worth it. BTW I never get a sim card while overseas! Just rely on free wifi ;)
FIrst comment. I'm amazed. We are off to follow your Japan guidance later this year.....thanks for all the tips. Hope you enjoy your RTW! With the stopover. If you booked in business class would you get a 5 star?
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm thrilled to hear that you found my Japan tips helpful. Have an amazing time on your trip later this year! Regarding the stopover, they did offer a 5 star option at a discounted rate and that was if you ticket was economy so I would imagine you could also get this offer in Business, but unsure if you would get a free 5 star stay in Business - Would be a good deal though! Let me know if you do book it! 😊
In Australia breakfast is almost never included, and it's expensive!
Hi, could you please acquaint me if transit visa is mandatory for the stopover.
Hi, I am from the UK and when I arrived I got a VISA on arrival, more info is here: www.etihad.com/en/fly-etihad/visas
great.. is there any specific checkin / checkout time?
I think the checkin / checkout was the hotel standard, which I believe was 2pm / 11am but my flight was early morning the 3rd day
@@wilkowanders did you still have to put a credit card down ? Did they charge you taxes and fees for the room?

I actually hate warm pools when in a warm climate, you want something refreshing. That wouldn't give any relief from the heat
I totally get what you mean! A cooler pool can definitely be more refreshing in hot weather.
hi, do you just turn up at the hotel with the confimramtion email or do you need to do anything at the airport before you get there, thanks

Do we choose which hotel to stay in?
I think it depends how early you book, I had a choice of 2 but I think there are more that they offer

Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Does it have to be 2 nights? or Can it be just one day?
You can also select just a 1 night option :)
