Thanks for all the work you put in to your great channel. Could you please reference the full name of teams though as when you are talking a lot of shortened terms become alphabet soup for someone starting out on the scoliosis information journey. An index of terms would be so helpful, thanks again.
@@DerekLeeI am so happy, the vbt was invented the right time to help your son. I do have scoliosis and my daughter has a very mild scoliosis, but I am already kind of alarmed.
@@biancawilli5370 I know you will continue to monitor but you can keep current by joining my FB group. Members include spine surgeons (VBT/fusion), PTs and orthotists who can answer questions. facebook.com/groups/1198200727630801
Thanks for your invitation, I became a group member now. I do like all your videos! My daughter's pelvis is slightly outstanding to the right side and she has a little bit of a hump in the lumbar on the left side. If I didn't have a view for it, I wouldn't see anything. But now we go to the Schroth therapist and will do an x-ray soon.
Your work is amazing doctor Derek. Thank you so much for sharing. Could you please share the progression chart, my little one is 4 years old with 27 degrees and this insight would be invaluable for us, to get an idea what to expect, as none is giving us prognosis at thins stage. She does permanent bracing.
Thank you! Unfortunately that progression chart is only for adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, not early onset scoliosis so it wouldn't apply to your little one's case.
