- Johnny Thompson performs his signature routine for The Cups & Balls featuring novel sequences done while presenting impressions of great magicians from the past.
This clip also features the Sugar Cube Assembly, a trick from Max Malini that Johnny learned from Charlie Miller. Both routines are described in The Magic of Johnny Thompson.
The Magic Palace was filmed in Calgary, Alberta and hosted by illusionist Dale Harney. It ran for three seasons and featured an astonishing array guests including some of the most well regarded magicians and mentalists of the era.
