They were already mediocre they had a great season that first year but players regressed that all time offense turned mediocre and that defense never improved. You don’t linger in mediocrity for multiple years when it’s clear you’re not a contender and try to fight. Instead you build on your assets and reset kings haven’t been good since that first season.

The front office is completely incompetent, refuse to spend money or make significant trades to support their star players, and then point the finger at anything and everything but the FO and owner. The derozan signing was a terrible idea and they refused to make any trades to address our biggest weakness for the past 4 years by getting 3&D wings. The 2022-23 Beam team catapulted my interest back into the sport more than ever and I can’t I’m anything but disappointed by the decisions of the front office. Not only with firing Mike Brown as a wrong knee jerk but everything leading up to it (letting Jordi walk away during the off season, not addressing 3 point scoring, not acquiring more forwards/centers and leaving Keon, Keegan and Fox on an island defensively). If not only keeping Fox but a playoff contending team was the goal of the front office, firing head coach who brought the team back to life would be the last decision you make. Not going into the trade market and dipping your feet into the luxury tax is the first thing you want to do if you WIN. I’m greatly disappointed and now an unnecessary rebuild is very possible in the kings timeline💔💔💔

The 2022-23 Beam team catapulted my interest back into the sport more than ever and I can’t I’m anything but disappointed by the decisions of the front office. Not only with firing Mike Brown as a wrong knee jerk but everything leading up to it (letting Jordi walk away during the off season, not addressing 3 point scoring, not acquiring more forwards/centers and leaving Keon, Keegan and Fox on an island defensively). If not only keeping Fox but a playoff contending team was the goal of the front office, firing head coach who brought the team back to life would be the last decision you make. Not going into the trade market and dipping your feet into the luxury tax is the first thing you want to do if you WIN. I’m greatly disappointed and now an unnecessary rebuild is very possible in the kings timeline💔💔💔
They need to accept the fact that Sabonis is their leader and best player and start moving accordingly
