Really love these videos. They help me help my son, playing ball for the first time, catch up a little bit with the boys who have been playing for a few years.
Most of your videos I've seen are either about fundamentals or drills, which we find very useful. Do you have any, or could you make some, that focus more on actual game play or position-specific training? Thing like:
How does a baseman hold a runner on base? Where does he stand - over the base? between the pitcher and the base? can he stand between the runner and the base? What is a good stance for the baseman - upright, or more crouched? How does he apply the tag if the pitcher tries a pick-off move? Where does the fielder move when the pitcher starts his wind up? What all goes into a catcher's attempt to pick off a leading (not stealing) base runner? What other details go into this aspect of the game that we don't see or even think about? We see all of this a lot on TV, but it all happens so fast, and they don't break it down into the level of detail that a player needs. And we see it almost exclusively on 1st base, far less to 2nd or 3rd.
How do basemen play an attempted steal? Again, details about positioning and applying the tag. What do the other fielders do during a steal attempt?
How do the 2nd baseman and short stop divide their responsibilities at 2nd base, with regard primarily to holding a base runner on, or covering an attempted steal?

Justin, a little league coach here (9-10 y/o’s). Your videos have been a big help revisiting skills I learned 40 years ago. Now that I’m coaching little league your instruction really has come in handy. An idea: Could you focus a segment on competition/practice drills that incorporate small groups/stations for kids? I think this would help a lot of us out. Thank you and God bless.

Justin thanks so much for all your content. Been big help. Im a 43 year old dude still playing wooden bat leagues. Crazy question. I cant keep bot hands on bat when i swing. I feel like when i cone through my top hand comes off to early. Im a lefty.
