I specifically subscribed because of how honest you were with saying the other guys were better at the advanced stuff. I really respect that. However you made building maps less daunting and hopefully my friends will love my St. Hilaire with even more buildings!
The biggest hurdle is the troop AI's absolute braindead behavior. My favorite way of conducting these battles is to spawn a certain amount of troops on either team, and then give them free reign over their actions. It can be entertaining to watch, but is also almost always painful. Troops often run out of cover into the open to be gunned down, pretty much all of them save for the sniper have pisspoor accuracy and take about 100+ SMG or 15+ rifle bullets to hit an enemy, they will often have an enemy in their direct line of sight and just stand there and stare blankly into the enemy without firing, sometimes resulting in them dying, they will slowly walk away from a machinegun firing at them instead of trying to duck and take cover, the troop AI has no perception of cover, they will almost never use it.
@@AFGuidesHD I've played a lot of the original Men of War because of the DCG mod. I've always been a sucker for persistent army management and it provided my fix. But recently my MOW install broke and won't reinstall, so I've been messing around in the AS2 editor.
how do i play the scenarios that i made on the editor??i cant see them anywhere..i can even load it again in the editor though the file name is existing on my map folder but i have no way on using it in game or even loading it again via editor
Does anyone know why the hot keys don't work??? Everytime I change from f1 back to f2 or f3, it just affects with my screen brightening and dimming.. It doesn't do anything, but makes things brighter or darker. How do I take care of this issue??

If you turn infantry into a tank or vehicle and then change your team to an enemy, it keeps coming off. Is there a way to turn it into an enemy while still burning?

I'm using gem editors in cta goh and mow they all seem like the same editor i made and endless waves, script but i dont want it to keep spawning to many because it will cause lag or evrn a game crash if too many troops spawn would be cool to have a way to toggle waves on or off. I'm not sure if i can do that.

Hello, excuse me, GEM Editor noob here. I was wondering why when I load up maps. My soldiers, as well as most guns and tanks, even some aircraft, are always glowing white. They get their colours when I distance the camera from them. Is this a problem of the GEM Editor, or my computer can't seem to handle loading them?
im having trouble with the editor. when i put a squad of 10 soldiers for example then assign them to team 1, they disappear! almost like there is a fog of war. how can i sort this???

not entirely sure but you could put a delay command on the first waypoint, so click on the first waypoint and add a delay command like you would in a trigger and make sure the tags are correct in the properties of the commands then after the delay (put 60 for 1 minute and 120 for 2 minutes) you could put a command of 'squad to waypoint' then in the properties set the tags of the squad and the number of the next waypoint
not too sure, i haven't used the editor in years, shouldn't be too hard, character properties switch on a certain trigger, depending what you want the trigger to be?
Thanks for the instant response. I wanted a US soldier to turn traitor and side with a German squad but only to change after it reached a waypoint. I gave it whatever script I could think of in the waypoint scripting but the US soldier still doesn't respond, instead he shoots the Germans, even though I disabled weapon mode and weapon prepare in the *Properties for "actor_state"* and in *"Properties for "selector"*. Also clicking on the US soldier and in *Properties for "human"* in F3, entity [2]. I click on 'player' to chance to no colors and the soldier will be neutral. When I click START the US soldier goes to the German squad, no shot are fired. But when I click on FINISH and then click START again, the US soldier color turns grey and as he walks towards the Germans, shots are fired between the two. I wonder why it does stay set as no color each time I choose the no color in 'player', marked as (-)'. Do you have any idea?

I have run across an error that I need help fixing. I try to launch the editor, and two error messages pop up saying that I am missing xvidcore.dll and (I think) mssg3.dll. If anyone knows how to fix this, I will be thankful.
im sure i mention it in this video, but you can change the units faction at the top of the bar on the right hand side when you click on them, from yellow to red etc.

Because if they are in the same team, they won't shoot each other, that's why you choose another team for your solders.

well you can switch team by pressing numbers on the number pad if thats what you mean
i don't find mod edit,there is tree files in the big files mow,or i buy it on steam is that normal
I always had an issue with mow/mowas2 because whenever I try to save any projects in game editor, error pops up with a message "Error: Missing files"

How do you scroll around the map? I'm stuck viewing this tiny spot and I can't move the camera anywhere.

Finest Fellaz go into F1 mode Press ESC > options > Graphics > disable fog of war

Something must be wrong if it doesn't work and you do it correctly, even on MOWAS2. It works for my AS2

This won't work for me because the f1-10 buttons do things on my pc like f6 is the mute button and f3 is the brightness button.

You can't play your maps on the MOWAS 2 game,Only on editors
