HorrorTale is an Undertale fangame made by HTTG-Team. The plot takes place after the Exiled Queen ending, where Toriel retakes the throne, but Undyne exiled her back to the ruins and ascended the throne herself. Her rule was exceptionally cruel, and after some time the Underground has come to its downfall. Almost all monsters have gone mad. Now they’re extremely desperate to reach the Surface.
All footage and music used belong to their respective owners.

So we aren't gonna talk about how frisk killed the KING of monsters, Asgore, with an actual stick?
The same answer as for every Undertale question that includes Frisk: determination
Ok so this horrortale game sticks pretty close to the original Undertale. Yet the area that originally had a ribbon did not have that and instead had a broken lever. The lack of a ribbon implies that Frisk took that and therefore probably took all the other armor and weapons, so he probably killed Asgore with a worn dagger while wearing a golden heart locket.
@@trish7048 the stick is more meant to be symbolic of frisk’s journey and emphasizing his hardship. Obviously he would not have used just a stick: in fact, there was probably an inventory full of legendary heroes, temmie armor, and the dagger. Assuming frisk even did flawed pacifist anyway and didn’t just murder some enemies to reach lv 9 and have an easier time against ASGORE

I already mentioned the lovely (even if a bit off) interaction between Toriel and Aliza, but what I love about this fangame (alongside the nice drawings and atmosphere) is that you actually get to bond with Toriel. Something that is left kind of short in the canon Undertale. I always feel a bit bad about Frisk being so keen to move forward and leaving "goat mom" behind.

I watched a walkthrough on what’s in this game and I was like GO INTO THE BAKESALE an Easter egg will happen.
A froggit will be there. You need to save him. Then he will go over to the dust and say “my brother he is dead” and cry he will talk about how the monsters in the ruins are going crazy. And other stuff

Honestly, the creepiest thing about this game is that the premise is an actual possible ending for Undertale, if you let Toriel live but kill some monsters along the way.

It's sad that the original Horrortale game didn't get continued, apparently, coz the art style, animations and game style was pretty unique for an Undertale fangame, and I actually quite liked it, despite normally preferring the traditional Undertale art style.
Plus huge fricking Papyrus is awesome.
But seeing it in the traditional Undertale style is still pretty cool, and I love how miserable Aliza looks, the poor girl.
Though I wonder how Flowey ended up as a cyclops...?

There is so much love put into this fan game, so much reverences. And i think the theme fits quite well.
And the darkness of this. Its crazy to think, that this actualy might be a possible future for Toriel, being actualy so terified to loose another human that drives here to this kind of action. Well made fan game srsly.

Also the part you got at the balcony goes behind the pillar that toriel used to hide behind, you have to look at it from the back.
