yea I feel your pain man, Sideshow QC is soo fucking terrible, in the last 3 years ive bought 6 statues from Sideshow and had to get 3 of them replaced, and 1 had a scratch that I ignored, and another (Deadpool Heat-Seeker) had a piece of the explosion that was suppose to key into the base didnt even come close to keying in properly I mean it literally left a half inch gap and I tried from every direction so its not user error, so ill recap out of 6 pieces, 3 had to be shipped back and replaced, 1 had a scratch on the back I ignored, 1 had a deformed part of the base that was on the back so I ignored, and only 1 has come flawless which was Lady Deadpool, so thank goodness Sideshow's customer service is excellent
This is my favorite joker statue by far!!! do you think I can find it for over 250-350 pre owned ?? Cause I wouldn’t pay 600+ for a statue as much as I like it

I’m thinking about getting it but a little skeptical after this review. I’m wanting a high quality Joker piece w/o breaking the bank. Would you recommend getting or passing on this ?

so what do you like about this piece? what are your favorite things about it? i remember you saying you really like it, but i don't remember you going into detail about what you liked about it, or you maybe you did and it just went in one ear and out the other...for me there's actually a lot i really like about this piece, for example i love that EX portrait i feel like they did a great job making him look extremely sinister in a subtle kind of way, if that makes sense, i mean he's very clean cut, with nice teeth, and well kempt, but you can still really see the evil in his eyes and with that sinister smile, i also really love that gun the design and the details are impressive and cool looking, i just went back and i agree with everything you said here 7:53 and you explained it perfectly so no need for me to repeat what you just said, and then all the small detailed nods and easter eggs such as the Ha Ha treads and the Your Face Here on the soles, the Batgirl plush thats pinned to his lapel, and the Chug drink...this really is one seriously cool statue, and the good thing about this piece is there is no reason a person cant have both this Joker and the original comic book Joker PF because they are such completely different pieces. Congrats man this is a keeper, hope you get it all sorted out with getting a replacement from sideshow, as someone who's had to get multiple replacements its honestly not that difficult of a process, the worst part is sometimes being on hold for an extended period of time but once you get a Customer Service person on the phone it goes quick, you just have to email them photos or a video of the issues, and they will review it then email you a shipping label and you ship it back to them and they will ship your replacement a day or two after receiving your shipment
i was shocked to see, in the Out of the Box video Sideshow did of this piece, that the Jokers jacket was all one piece and that the two tail parts didn't come separate, my guess is that there was no way to avoid an ugly very noticeable seam line that certainly would of been there if they had made those separate pieces
I had the same issues with the peg, wouldn't go in at all.. added a drop of Vaseline and everything slid in correctly.. it was either that or not getting it in at all.
man this is such a fuckn cool statue, between this PF, the new Superman PF, new Harley PF, and especially the new Green Arrow PF sideshow is making it extremely difficult to not start buying DC pieces. Now I have absolutely nothing against DC Batman is one of my favorite heros of all time, and the Joker is my favorite villain of all time, but outside of all the Batman characters there really isn't that much that im a fan of, I mean its not like I dislike Superman or Wonder Woman or anyone else in DC im just indifferent towards them, and compared to the other collectors in this hobby im definitely a 1%'er as far as finances goes, normally that refers to the top 1% of people but not this case haha no that 1% im talking about is on the opposite end of the spectrum im among poorest 1% of collectors in this hobby so I struggle to purchase even just 2 statues a year, I had a promising future and then one night when i was in college I tripped while walking down traintracks I fell and hit my face on the railing which knocked me out leaving me laying inbetween the rails unconscious and along came a 1.5 mile long freight train, the cow guard on the front caught my legs which then literally broke me in half exploding my L1 vertebrae and drug me 100 yards underneath before finally coming to a stop, I miraculously didn't end up paralyzed but did end up physically and mentally fucked for life but holly shit im getting way off topic, fuckn hell my whole point was I can only afford a few statues a year and I choose to purchase Marvel pieces but Sideshow has done such an amazing job with this new DC run that its very hard to pass on these DC pieces this one and the Green Arrow especially, that Green Arrow could be sideshow's statue of the year that thing is incredible

I absolutely love the EX portrait, reminds me a lot of the Mark Hamil Joker from the animated series
It's a good joker not the best but still pretty good. Definitely like the eater eggs and little add ons
