Really appreciate how your stylist kept insisting its more about your technique than additional tools and services. Genuinely would go to her because she cares enough to be honest and advise you when she could've just did the service and made more commission off of you as a customer. Really shows her character. Good on her!!!
I love that because too many people are convinced that it's products when it's literally their own technique. And no matter how many times you try to tell them it's their technique they want to just believe its products and their hair rather than they just don't handle their hair correctly. So hopefully hearing a stylist say this will help people listen.
I enjoyed that so so much. The confidence that she has shows that she knows what she is doing. You are a beautiful girl (smile really stands out)I hope you succeed in all your endeavors.
She gave you some of the best advice. She touched on things I was doing wrong and gave me a whole new perspective about blow drying, heat protectant, air drying and styling. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. New Subie!!
She’s the first stylist I liked in a long time. I love how she detangles, sectioning the hair, using a wide tooth comb than the wet brush in areas where she sees more tangled. and the fact that she uses medium heat, high speed for blow drying. Thank you for the tips as well, I fry my Olaplex treatments once every 8 weeks. I would’ve love to hear why trimming is more than just about split ends. Your stylist is amazing, I just love how she did not rip through your hair but taking her time. She literally does hair like I do mine at home.
I really enjoyed this video, it was very insightful. Maybe it’s just my technique that’s the issue. I’ll apply some of the tips she mentioned and see if there are any improvements. Thank you
Thank you for filming & sharing your experience! What reason did she give for blowdrying from root to tip instead of the opposite? Also couldn't hear at the end why so many people's hair is shorter in the middle (I struggle so much with this as well)
She said it’s normal to have shorter hair in the middle and she said something about the most of the moisture being at the root of your hair so you wanna get it out first
Try magnetic hair rollers, and at night before going to bed you can put pin curls in with bobby pins, put a bonnet on and in the morning you'll still have curls ❤
Tysm for this video. I just have a couple of questions please. So I visited their website and saw different packages depending on what you’d like them to do for your hair at the saloon. Please which particular package did you opt for? Was it the wash, treat, blow dry, and trim option? And did you have to pay for a consultation for her to give you all these advice? Also, how do you ensure that it’s the head stylist that would attend to you? I’d really appreciate a response. Thanks 💗
I went for wash, blowdry and trim. I didn’t pay for a consultation, she was just really happy to talk with me about my hair. Sad thing is I didn’t get her name but I know you can ask for the head stylist when on a call to book. This lady isn’t the head stylist. If you want to use the lady I used, I’ll advise having a chat with them on IG and referring to my video so they know who you’re talking about.
Not trying to be negative please 🙏🏾 because I like hearing different opinions about about hair but sometimes I wish we had scientific data collected that can be peer reviewed. We've come so far. That would be a great next step.
Yes stylists will always advise to use professional products I’m also leaning towards that and Keracare is really effective and affordable I also like that I can easily get it here in Nigeria
The plates of the flat iron can be either titanium or ceramic. It’s very easy to get heat damage with titanium plates because it can get too hot and burn your hair.
It was nice you wanted us to hear from her but maybe a subtitle could have helped, so we could read. Because most part we couldn’t understand a thing in what she said because of the noise
That not true, finger detangling works for many naturals. No disrespect Why does your hair look so dry? Many cosmetologist have gain their knowledge from caucasian European schools.
@@makedasamuel-gaskin7760 I did not mention shining. I said dry lack of hydration, moisture. The hair does not have to shine to look hydrated n moisturized.
It did look like that, plus other natural stylist say the best time to cut is when it is straighter than in the video because coily ends don't show what really needs to be cut. That said, I am happy when my hair reverts quickly after a cool heat blow out, makes me feel it is healthy.

This was the best hairdresser visit I've seen on YT. Thr stylist was very knowledgeable.

She really pampered your hair ❤️✅
She did 🥹
This is so helpful, my hair breaks a lot and I’ve always been suspecting my choice of routine and hairstyles
Glad it was helpful!

Great video happy I know how to do my hair. But I always go to a professional a few times a year for maintenance
This was really helpful, I was able to pick one or two. Thanks for sharing
Glad it was helpful
So appreciate this upload more specifically, the knowledge share of the stylist. May have to take a flight. 📝

@@deborahboms thank you !
Beautiful 😍😍 your hair is growing. That hair wash must be so relaxing 😎😅
It was! Thank you
I was here when you cut your hair after the "silk press😅😂" and now😍😍 ....it's grownnnnnn
I get her. No matter how you finger detangle, there are some you wont get. The day you eventually comb out your hair, you are shocked.
Try magnetic hair rollers, and at night before going to bed you can put pin curls in with bobby pins, put a bonnet on and in the morning you'll still have curls ❤
I need the stylist in S’Florida!!!! She’s very knowledgeable 🤩
Right?!

What products did she use on your hair?
They were mostly salon products so not easily accessible but she did recommend keracare as a good brand and used some of their products on my hair
Yes stylists will always advise to use professional products
I’m also leaning towards that and Keracare is really effective and affordable I also like that I can easily get it here in Nigeria
How long did this style last?❤
Hi Deborah, what heat protectant did she use on your hair?
I can’t even believe myself that I didn’t ask 🥹🫠
I’ll check and come back to this comment
Pls what did she mean by titanium straightener and ceramic straightener
She advised ceramic straighteners for people with fine hair like me who are more prone to heat damage
@@deborahboms How do you know you have fine hair?
The plates of the flat iron can be either titanium or ceramic. It’s very easy to get heat damage with titanium plates because it can get too hot and burn your hair.
First person here 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you ☺️
Please what blow dryer did she use?
Dyson

I could hear the hairdresser.
Same 🤷🏾♀️
Tap on CC and you’ll get caption
Interesting!
❤️❤️
It looks as though it took me about 20 minutes to dry your hair also
Second person here❤
Thank you

Why does your hair look so dry?
Many cosmetologist have gain their knowledge from caucasian European schools.
Dry in comparison to what? The same European standards because some hair does not reflect light well but soft to the touch and that’s what matters !
Mine looks hard and dry till you touch it. I don't usually use a comb heat but I wash and deep condition weekly or bi-weekly if I'm lazy
@@makedasamuel-gaskin7760 I did not mention shining. I said dry lack of hydration, moisture. The hair does not have to shine to look hydrated n moisturized.
That brush just snags the hair for no reason
