as mentioned previously you need to isolate the power lots of people watch to pick up tips and not doing safe isolation is a bad habit to teach anyone I'd be strung up by my company if i posted a video working live on a boiler I'd rather the fan went bang than me!
@@AlanJones-f5l to be honest, anyone attempting to carry out the same works in this video should be capable enough to make up their own mind whether they isolate or not. I've seen service kits for these around £100 for all seals and electrodes. Around £100 to do the job... my area people would not pay £200 for a service as people are doing a 'service' for £30/£60... we all know they ain't servicing shit for that money, but all the customer see is me = typical rip off gad engineer wanting £200 to service a boiler and him = honest bloke not charging the earth..
@@brendanfisher2528 it’s all in the way you package it up to the client. Offer both options, detailing the differences between what resemables a “safety check” being offered by the £30 person against the manufacturer recommended strip service incl. replacement components that you and the manufacturers are recommending. This one was invoiced just under £200 and was the option the client picked when offered that or the £90 basic service. Try to compete on quality and service rather than price - I know that’s easier said than done and there will be customers that are only bothered about price - let the £30 guys fight over those customers!

@@markchristohperowen6806 do you mean the bearing plate? Half looks missing but it wasn’t, it was just hanging down as looser on one side, but it wasn’t stuck. @@russellbaldry5095 they’re actually really nice to service! I think the Junior kit is quite a bit more! I’ve had these cheese graters for around 15 years 😭 ones all bent up! You’ve nailed it mate. Poke and print “services” are a massive issue in this industry.

corrosion on flue system no change of baffle plate? that looks white maybe even stuck on one side.. you showed none of the corrections.

It would have been safer to switch the boiler off 🤣🤣🤣
