@Gonzalo Luengo i think the budgets are based on properties of destination, like temperature, gravity... so their colorings and material compositions are adjusted accordingly... And I think they do bound for everywhere in the solar system, especially planets, perhaps their moons too
Process of making marbles (or possibly more…): 1. Some ores are mined and collected in a cart. 2. The coloured ores are unloaded outside the factory. 3. The ores are filtered based on its colour upon entry. 4a. The white ores are heated up and molten into magma. 4b. The yellow, magenta and cyan ores are grounded into aqueous form. 5. The molten magma is then cooled by portions to make a cannon-shaped solid. 6. The excess areas of the solid is grinned to become a ball. There you go! The marbles are made! Time to paint it. 7. The colourful solutions mixes up with other solutions to change colours.(or don’t mix at all.) 8. The drones picks up the balls and paint the ball as same as their colours, then sort them in the tubes. 9. The marbles are boxed and packaged by bending and cutting rods. Done with the marbles! Time to deliver them! 10. The package (with red, orange, yellow, lime, cyan, blue, purple, magenta and white) is loaded into a cart. 11. The cart will load more packages coming from other factories. (In this cart, it loaded marbles from factories 1,2,3 and 27.) (The steps of making marbles with other colours are basically the same, just different colours.) (On the floor above, 1 floor of factories are used to make shining colours, the other for glowing colours.) (1 floor below, it is the section for blinking colours.) 12. After loading, the cart is ready to launch! (Hey, it’s also possible to make mikan marbles, including the combinations above, ring marbles, pulse marbles, also mixed marbles! But we don’t cover them now.) 13. Select a planet to deliver, going up, transform into a rocket, and takeoff! Now the marbles will be delivered to different marble racers to race! (and make eliminations :). Have fun!)
I love the visual storytelling the other carts and factory outputs do. After having seen the entire process for the white-based marbles, including the un-dyed one on the right showing the base color, we can infer basically everything about the other factories. And when we see the drastically different patterns and how high the "Factory - ###" goes, we get an idea as to how grand and elaborate the entire facility is.
@@lukatolstov5598 It's not a set of stars/asterisks, it's a set of number signs. Like #1, #2, etc. Where the stars replace letters, these # replace numbers.
Interesting... After the video, I will explain the mechanics. A machine finds minerals in which there are 2 types: white and colorful (cyan, orange, magenta). They will go into a separator in which, separate the minerals, allowing them to go to their individual factories. The white will be smelt for material, and the colorful ores will be crushed to make dyes. The smelted ore will go into a frame and sharpened to make marbles. The marbles go into a color factory, which there are a color mixer there. The 3 colors make the rest of the colors: red, yellow, lime, blue, purple. There are 9 catches, each will go into a dye to dye the marbles, except for the white one just doesn't go into a dye. After that, the marbles go into a package, with each 9 marbles, onto a minecart. A minecart may go into another factory, to collect more marbles. Once all of the factories have gone by, it will go into a rocket to send from MIKAN planet to various planets in the solar system. (The one process above is just one factory, Factory-001, we have 30-ish other factories to explore somewhere down the line) Edit: weird, my notification said that I got heart. Where's my heart?
This is by far, the most interesting marble factory to exist in Algodoo/Unity community. You can't deny it unless you see the whole process This actually brings a new theory for me that, high quality marbles don't actually being produced on Earth but rather on other rocky surface. Best bet I can say this takes place on the Moon but one other thing I can speculate, is Planet MIKAN. Would it have also been the place for the whole time? Since other rocky plants (Mercury, Mars, Venus) haven't provide any such resources for marble creations....
But then again, what are the ores? Iron is surely one of them, but the yellow, pink, and cyan? They can't be normal gemstones, can they? How do they get lighter/darker ores? Do they use another ore to color the paint lighter/darker? How do they get patterns? How do marbles get the rainbow/monochromatic effects? How the hell do they get effect as we can peek at 7:49 ??? Or ones seconds later?
Another phenomenal show! My autistic son and I were just watching it before he went to school, and he went to school happy and amazed! Thanks again, MIKAN! ☺️
As someone on the spectrum, these always amazed me when I was young. About a year or so ago I discovered MIKAN and never looked back. Kudos to him for keeping us entertained for all this time!
Wow ok showing an actual mining system is cool as hell. 2:53 Also the fact that you acknowledge that there'd be a bit of extra left from the point where the mold came off and grind it off is so cool.
That was incredible! I love the way you used the other carts to create a sense of scale with how many other factories there were, and I loved seeing references to other marbles and marble factories within those carts.
The amount of implied MIKAN lore here just makes the already incredible video that much better. This factory is clearly on a different rocky body, but which is it? The factory is clearly automated and very efficient, with virtually no waste products. Who created it? What are they doing with so many marbles? Could it be that they just run an incredible number of marble races, or are there alternative uses for marbles? The capsules that turn into rockets have to be made somewhere, too. Are they *also* made of marble-matter? Is it in the same factory? Are they sent back to the factory once their delivery is complete? I feel like we're truly seeing a new MCU: a MIKAN Cinematic Universe!
This looks like a decent midgame setup, though I don't think it'll carry you through to the lategame. You'd need to improve throughput, probably by having entire factories dedicated to the common ball types, allowing more efficient bulk processing. The most obvious bottleneck is the dying process; relying on drones to dye each ball individually is _very_ slow, and large batches of one color are much more efficient. In the mid-to-late game, you generally want a large factory dedicated to each of the eight base colors (each supplied by your central ball forming facility), which can then ship their products off to more specific sub-factories for further refinements (darkening, glow, stripes, fusion, etc.). It looks like you took your early-game build and built it up to meet the increased requirements of the mid-game, without actually rebuilding it to work on the scale you're now operating on. Which, okay, is a mistake I also make pretty frequently. But it also looks like you've copied your early-midgame hybrid base with small modifications to fit a variety of purposes, which really doesn't scale well. On a more positive note, your cart network is beautifully constructed, your routing system is clearly _exquisitely_ made, and the hybrid cart/rocket build is frankly brilliant. It's much better than anything I've made, and you've inspired me to step up my game. ... or maybe I play too much Factorio. who knows.

It's official, I'm saving this to a new satifying playlist
The lore grows deeper with these 3rd generation marbles
WOW! Words can't describe how phenomenal this whole thing is. Truly a talent; how you get the helicopter things at 4:22 to fly like that is beyond me. This is the most amazing thing I have ever seen in Algodoo. Keep up the astonishing work.
THAT WAS SO COOL!!! It might not be a marble race, but it’s still quite fun watching the marbles go from raw ores collected from the ground to their final form!
Here’s the full process:
PRE-PRODUCTION
1. Raw Material Collection
2. Raw Material Delivery
3. Raw Material Sorting
4. Raw Material Refinement (Grey Material Smelting/Colored Material Liquefaction)
PRODUCTION
5. Stage 1: Marble Manufacturing (Smelted Material Pouring>Marble Casting>Grinding Excess Material>Finished Blank Marbles)
6. Stage 2: Coloring (CMY Mixing>Secondary Color Creation>Drone-Assisted Dyeing>Color Sorting)
7. Stage 3: Packaging (Packing Marbles In Individual Boxes>Creating Cartons>Putting Boxes Into Cartons>Sending Off For Shipping)
SHIPPING
8. Maglev Loading
9. Maglev Transport
10. Loading Into Launch Tubes
11. Final Send-Off
I live factory builds, so this was awesome for me! I especially loved the transport cart section.😊
after 2yrs finally a new version of marble fact.
every new step dropped my jaw just a little bit more, the flex of skill is insane
Those factories are getting more and more complex. Amazing!
Mikan has lore now!
my dream has finally came true. light monochrome and dark monochrome! And it all thanks to Mikan, I hope you can keep up all the hard work :) (btw one of the drones messed up and put a white marble onto the pink marble lane)
Oh, 4 weeks ago? It feels like you’ve been serving TH-cam for years now. I used to watch this when I ate dinner XD
wow we got even more lore about how marbles are acquired
I like watching manufacturing stuff, its very technical and by far this is a pretty good video from you MIKAN
I like how when the white drone docks home, it actually stops spinning its propeller.
Nice touch.
I don't how to express how amazing this video is the transitions are just sensational and I loved the ending but won't say what it was just in case this comment is seen before completing video.
