NICU nurses are one of God’s biggest gifts to the world. They are such heroes and bring so much peace to worried parents. Also, this video brought back so many memories for me. Our twin NICU journeys are very similar but with one big difference- we were not allowed to sleep at our hospital NICU so we had to leave our twins there every night and go home once I was released from the hospital. Your NICU suites were great!
We couldn't agree more! We also definitely looked out with those NICU suites. We had no clue they were like that!

Both my children were in hospital for 21 days each (2years apart). My son was 4lb3oz and 7weeks early. My daughter was 3lb 11oz she was 4weeks early but small for dates.

I watched your videos and I have to tell u with what am seeing. U guys have pure hearts and I just love you. If same sex is wrong... I would choose wrong because this love I see I rare and your spirit of giving is flawless. Love each other... and in times of need ask for God's guidance bc people have their opinions and that is it... U can't even send them a bill for your cable which I think says alot...

I might’ve missed it but why did the surrogate have to get induced early
She developed a condition called Cholestasis which can lead to sudden death in babies so they must induce once detected. A week prior she had also gone into preterm labor so it was just a matter of time before going back into labor. Doctors had said 7-10 days after preterm labor was stopped she’d give birth, but once they detected cholestasis after she started itching, which is a major symptom, they had to induce.

Is the surrogate apart of there lives at all?
She is. We try and make a trip to see her once a year and we call and FaceTime each or http when we we can.
Why did the twins stay in separate rooms
The NICU they were in was one child per room. They each needed their own equipment and oxygen. At first they were several rooms apart but the next day they were able to put them in rooms next door to each other which was very helpful for dads.
Is it two dad and one mom chemistry ! I am confused please explain it.
No, it is just two dads. Boys were born via gestational surrogate. They are biological to us using donor eggs. Surrogate was just the carrier but not biologically linked.

Is the surrogate giving her breast milk for the babies or are they just gonna eat formula
We just did formula. They required a high caloric formula which we kept them on when we went home as well. it would have been hard to upkeep breast milk once we went home and were several hours driving distance away.
